Learn Farsi - Persian
Persian: speak, read, write
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Say something in Persian today!
You can drill words for a year and still not be able to speak Farsi. You also need to know verbs and how they conjugate, letters and how they join into words, and the nerve to say it out loud. 'Learn Farsi' covers all of it, and the only thing it asks is that you come back tomorrow.
Over 150 lessons, and every one of them a conversation you will need: greeting your partner's parents, ordering in a cafe, asking where something is. You hear it, you say it back, and the app tells you how close you got. Then you say it to Mina, an AI coach who answers back. Start from zero, no script required, and no ads.
1. LESSONS BUILT ON CONVERSATION
A structured CEFR course. Every human-curated lesson runs the same arc: keywords, then a spoken dialogue, then exercises for vocabulary, grammar and speaking, with AI pronunciation feedback. The dialogues are kitchen-table Persian, not textbook Persian: slang, proverbs and small talk included. Each lesson unlocks a can-do skill, so progress reads as "I can order in a cafe" instead of a number going up. The complete A1 level.
2. NEW: TALK IT THROUGH WITH MINA
Mina is an AI speaking coach. Pick a lesson you have finished and she plays the other side of the scene, helping you use its keywords. Hold to speak, take your time, and she corrects you as you go. Or just talk, about whatever you like. Stuck? Say the word in your own language and carry on. Afterwards you see what you managed, what did not come out yet, and the conversation in Persian and transliteration, kept on your phone. She is an AI, in beta, and can get things wrong; tell us when she does.
3. WORDS THAT STAY LEARNED
8,100+ words with audio (3,400 by a native speaker), transliteration, images and example sentences. Spaced repetition tracks every word and brings it back just before you lose it. With Pro, your Daily Routine rebuilds itself each morning around exactly those words, from 18 exercise types you switch on or off.
4. YOU DO NOT NEED THE SCRIPT TO START
Every word, dialogue line and exercise has transliteration in the Latin alphabet. You can learn to speak and understand Persian without reading a single letter of it. It is there when you want it, not before. You can learn the Persian alphabet in 30 lessons. Every path also has an optional reading lesson.
5. WRITE PERSIAN WORDS BY HAND
Not 'tap it'. Write it. Each word drawn on screen for you to trace, then write from memory with your finger. It scores the shape, the dots and whether it is readable, on your device. The stroke guides come from real handwriting, so you learn what Persian looks like on paper.
6. 850+ VERBS, FULLY CONJUGATED
Every common tense, conjugation tables and example sentences. Persian conversation runs on verbs, and these are the ones it runs on.
FOR CHILDREN
Child Mode gives kids a simpler interface and a filtered word list.
WHY THIS APP EXISTS
