Breeder Techo is a record book app for dog breeders and kennels in Japan. It is built so that a one-person kennel can start on day one without a manual. The app is in Japanese.
Record weights and heat cycles in a few taps; the app works out what to do next and prepares the ledgers required by Japanese law.
• Today: next steps from your records (heat estimates, mating days, vaccines, due dates), overdue items in red, widgets
• Record from the round ＋ at the bottom right: weight, heat, mating, pregnancy check, whelping, health, care and notes; undo within 10 seconds
• Speak to record: say "Hana 8.4 kg, Momo had a bath" and review the drafts before saving; Siri, Shortcuts and Spotlight
• One notebook page per dog, with the next milestone and missing ledger fields
• Breeding from heat to handover: mating window learned from each dog's history, due date (63 days), outside sires, inbreeding coefficient (5 generations), age and lifetime litter checks, whole-litter registration with collar colors, reminders
• Nursery: puppy weight charts by collar color, night feeding alarms, warm dark colors at night
• Ledgers as PDF: animal ledger and breeding record ledger in the Ministry of the Environment reference layout, per-dam copies
• Move in from a paper ledger photo, Excel (.xlsx), CSV or Google Sheets
• Add staff sharing, sales, inventory and finance only when you need them
• Dark Mode, Dynamic Type and iPad

Version 4.2 makes the app easier to start and better for kennels with staff.
- A step-by-step guide to the main buttons and tabs (replay it any time from Settings), and a 4-step getting-started checklist.
- After you add your own first dog, you can remove the sample kennel and sample dogs in one tap.
- Reminders the day before heats, vaccinations and due dates (when notifications are on).
- Staff and vet accounts can now record weights, care, daily rounds and whelping-room weights and feedings.
- Statutory ledgers, health schedules and annual reports now include dogs and records added on other iPhones.
- Dogs that must stay in the ledger are recorded as transferred/sold, deceased or moved out instead of being deleted.
- Fixes: start dates when registering a dog in heat or pregnant, sale dates recorded before 9:00, and saving with a photo while offline.
