Mintus is a digital voucher wallet built on the N42 blockchain. Store, pay with, and share gift cards, stored-value cards, coupons and tickets from your favorite local businesses — cafés, restaurants, salons, gyms, convenience stores and more.
HOW IT WORKS
Every voucher in Mintus is a digital token issued by a merchant through a smart contract on the N42 blockchain. Your balance and every payment are recorded on-chain, so your vouchers are verifiable and not locked inside any single platform.
YOUR WALLET, YOUR KEYS
Mintus is a self-custodial wallet. When you create a wallet, the app generates a recovery phrase (12 or 24 words) and stores your private key only on your device, protected by the iOS Keychain. Mintus cannot access or recover your wallet for you. Back up your recovery phrase and never share it. You can also restore an existing wallet with your recovery phrase, and set up trusted contacts for social recovery.

FOR MERCHANTS
Merchant accounts can take voucher payments by scanning customers' QR codes in the app. Creating and managing vouchers, campaigns and airdrops is done in the Mintus merchant web console.
PLEASE NOTE
Mintus is not a cryptocurrency exchange. You cannot buy, sell or trade cryptocurrency in the app, and you cannot redeem vouchers for cash. Each voucher can only be used with the merchant that issued it. Blockchain transactions usually take 5–30 seconds to confirm.
