What's New in This Version: Since version 2.17.0, we have taught our weather engine a whole batch of new tricks: 1. European Precision Weather: We upgraded our forecast provider to Open-Meteo with KNMI seamless modeling across Europe. Rain will now have a much harder time ambushing your outdoor barbecue unannounced. 2. Built-in Manual and FAQ: You no longer need to guess what features do or search the web for answers. We added a complete User Manual and FAQ directly inside the app, readable even when offline. 3. Smarter AI Climatologist: Planning an event months ahead? Our AI long-range forecaster has been fine-tuned with decades of historical meteorological data to give you sensible climate estimates instead of wild guesses. 4. Bouncers for Our Servers: We hardened our proxy infrastructure with client key verification and tiered rate limiting. Bad bots can no longer sneak in and steal your sunshine. 5. iOS 18 Polish: Squashed stubborn bugs, optimised background refresh, and tuned performance so checking the forecast feels smoother than ever. Friendly reminder: Looking out the window is still the only 100% accurate sensor, but we are a very close second.

What's New in 2.19.0: The "We Fired the Groundhog" Update Ever try to plan a beach day 11 days in advance, only to have our app shrug at you? We felt that pain. So we tore out the engine, yelled at some servers, and now we're giving you a full 14-DAY FORECAST. You can now meticulously over-plan your life a full two weeks before the event actually happens! What else did we do while hopped up on excessive amounts of caffeine? - WE UPGRADED THE RADAR: If you're in the Netherlands, Europe, or the Caribbean, we tapped into the ultra-precise KNMI models. It's basically a weather satellite that whispers secrets directly to us. It's so accurate that it will tell you when a single drop of rain is aiming for your left shoulder. - WE SENT OUR AI TO MATH CAMP: Did you notice our app occasionally throwing a tantrum and telling you the afternoon temperature was exactly 'NaN' degrees? Yeah... our AI forgot how numbers work and panicked. We sent it back to elementary school. It now proudly outputs actual digits for wind speed and temperature like a good little algorithm. - MINOR EXORCISMS: We swept a few other spooky bugs under the rug. Please don't look under the rug. Update now to peer exactly 336 hours into the future! (Disclaimer: SunDay-App is not legally responsible if you don't like what the future looks like.

What's New in Version 2.18.0 Who says under-the-hood updates have to be boring? In version 2.18.0, we sent our servers to the gym! We have completely overhauled our backend infrastructure to ensure your weather forecasts arrive faster, more safely, and more reliably than ever before. Think of it as a supercharger for your weekend plans. There are no new buttons to press this time around—just a much smoother, ultra-secure ride behind the scenes. Keep enjoying SunDay, and as always, let us know what you think by leaving a review!

What's New in v2.17.0 Slimmer Cards, Bigger Picture We put your event cards on a diet. They're now sleek, compact rows that show the essentials — event name, date, location, and weather — all in one line. You can finally see more than two events without developing a scrolling thumb injury. Tap to Reveal Each card now has a little chevron that unfolds the full forecast, weather warnings, and all your favourite buttons (edit, share, repeat, refresh, delete). Think of it as a tiny drawer for your event's secrets. Same great weather forecasts, now in a tidier package. Your thumb will thank you.

Finally, you just want to know the weather forecast for your birthday every year? No problem... You can create yearly repeating events! Did you notice that when adding a new event, you always had to scroll up again? We did! We fixed it for you!

Tired of waiting to see the updated weather forecast? We fixed it. As soon as there is a new update, you get the weather update. We made some updates to support your friends using Android apps :) Fixed some small bugs and made the app more fun ;)

We have given the app a major under-the-hood tune-up! We upgraded our ad systems and squashed some invisible gremlins to make sure everything runs smoother than ever. Update now for our most seamless experience yet!

Hybrid Weather Forecasts: Our fortune-telling skills have improved. Events near the edge of the 10-day forecast now blend real weather data with AI-powered estimates — because guessing the weather 11 days out shouldn't stop us. We label which is which, so you can keep score. Forecast Upgrade Notifications We'll give you a nudge when your event enters the 10-day window, and real weather data rolls in. Think of it as your personal meteorologist, minus the dramatic hand gestures. Archive Fix: Past events were quietly refusing to archive themselves on some devices. We found them hiding and sent them where they belong. Smoother Event Handling: Adding events while a forecast was refreshing could make them vanish briefly — like a magic trick nobody asked for. Fixed. Cleaner Event Cards: Removed the "Upcoming" label from event cards. If it's on your list, it's upcoming. We trust you can figure that out. Support Docs updated the manual. Yes, we have one. Yes, it's still mildly entertaining.

v2.14.1 — The "Notifications Actually Work Now" Update NOTIFICATIONS. ARE. FIXED. After much debugging, soul-searching, and one very long staring contest with Android's alarm scheduler, notifications now fire reliably. Every time. We promise. Pinky swear. What else is new: - Real weather data for events within 10 days. We retired our AI crystal ball and plugged into Google's Weather API. Science wins. - Hourly temperature breakdown: morning, afternoon, and evening forecasts so you know exactly when to bring a jacket. - A fun surprise notification 10 days before your event, letting you know your forecast just upgraded from "educated guess" to "actual meteorology." - Debug logging: toggle it on in Settings and export logs when things go sideways. For the curious and the brave. - Various bug fixes that made our code happier and your experience smoother.

What's New in SunDay 2.13.8 • Passed events now properly move to the archive list when you reopen the app — no more zombie events haunting your upcoming list • Improved notification reliability on Android (our Android friends were getting the silent treatment — we fixed the miscommunication) • General stability improvements, because even weather apps need their beauty sleep Plan your next outdoor adventure with confidence!

- Shared links now open directly in the app via Universal Links. - The date picker no longer collapses into a thin line when no date is selected. It had self-esteem issues. We fixed those. - The date picker also stopped trying to be wider than your screen. Boundaries are healthy. - We show ads, sorry but also need some money to buy food and pay for all the computing power we use - We now politely ask before showing personalised ads, because we have manner
