New: themes with drawn mosques, a prayer tracker, Ramadan mode and more adhan voices with Salah Plus. Prayer times, alerts and the adhan stay free for everyone. Salah is a beautifully simple macOS menu bar app that keeps you connected to your daily prayers. It displays accurate prayer times, a live countdown to the next prayer, and sends timely notifications — all without getting in your way. PRAYER TIMES AT A GLANCE Salah sits quietly in your menu bar, showing the next prayer name and countdown. Click to see all five daily prayer times — Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha — with the next prayer clearly highlighted. Times are calculated based on your location using the trusted AlAdhan Prayer Times API. SMART NOTIFICATIONS Receive alerts before each prayer with customizable timing — choose 10, 15, 20, or 30 minutes before. Select your preferred alert sound or go silent. Salah also supports dedicated Jumma (Friday) reminders with separate timing controls, so you're always prepared for congregational prayer. RAMADAN & ISLAMIC EVENTS During Ramadan, Salah transforms to show Suhoor and Iftar labels with a live Iftar countdown. Receive special notifications for Laylatul Qadr during the last ten nights, Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha greetings, and reminders during the blessed days of Dhul Hijjah. HIJRI CALENDAR Always know the Islamic date. Salah displays the current Hijri date right in the popover, so you stay aware of important dates throughout the year. 24 CALCULATION METHODS Choose from 24 recognized prayer time calculation methods used around the world, including Muslim World League, ISNA, Umm Al-Qura, Egyptian General Authority, Diyanet (Turkey), JAKIM (Malaysia), and many more. Select between Shafi and Hanafi schools for Asr calculation. FLEXIBLE LOCATION Use automatic device location, enter a city name, or provide a custom address. Salah supports automatic and manual timezone selection, so it works perfectly whether you're at home or traveling. MONTHLY TIMETABLE View prayer times for the entire month in a clean, scrollable timetable. Perfect for planning your schedule or sharing times with family and friends. DESIGNED FOR macOS Salah is a native macOS app built with SwiftUI. It launches at login, uses minimal resources, and respects your system preferences. Choose between 12-hour and 24-hour time formats. Show or hide the menu bar icon. It simply works. WIDGET SUPPORT Add a Salah widget to your desktop or Notification Center for an at-a-glance view of today's prayer times without opening the app. SALAH PLUS (OPTIONAL) Prayer times, alerts and the adhan stay free for everyone. Salah Plus is an optional subscription for those who want more: extra adhan voices and lengths, your own imported adhan, a prayer tracker with streaks and qada, Ramadan mode with a suhoor countdown and fasting tracker, the Emerald, Midnight and Sand themes, more menu bar styles and the large widget. Choose monthly or yearly. Payment is charged to your Apple Account, and the subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings. TIP JAR Enjoying Salah? You can leave an optional tip in Settings. Tips unlock nothing; they are simply thanks. Salah is free to download, open to all, and built with love for the ummah. Your support and feedback help keep it improving.
