CloudArc is a Mac app for U.S. stock research—built for people who think in rules, not just charts. Write your idea in plain English. CloudArc turns it into strategy code, runs a backtest on your Mac, lets you replay the result bar by bar, practice discretionary orders on the same history, keep a Trade Journal, try ideas in a paper account, then watch the session with condition alerts. What's new Backtest Replay, manual orders & Trade Journal Open a finished backtest in a dedicated Replay window: play or step the chart (including slow speeds), place simulated buys/sells/shorts/covers while future bars stay hidden, and tag fills in a Trade Journal. Replay order sessions stay separate from your strategy scorecard and paper account—so practice does not pollute Sharpe. Local data import Import your own quote bars (CSV and compatible local files) into CloudArc for research and backtests on your Mac—use the data you already trust without shipping strategy code to our servers. Live watchlist and condition alerts Add tickers, pull quotes, and set rules (price breakouts, volume spikes, and similar). When a rule hits during the session, you get a notification on your Mac. What you can do • Build a strategy without coding Describe entries, exits, and risk in everyday language. CloudArc writes runnable strategy code you can keep and edit later. • See if the rule held up in history Backtest on your Mac with commissions, slippage, and position sizing. Read the equity curve, Sharpe ratio, max drawdown, win rate, and the trade list—then compare strategies side by side. Clear scorecards you can explain to yourself or a friend. • Replay the backtest and practice discretionary entries Walk the historical chart with strategy marks, scrub to an entry, and optionally place manual orders for training. Add notes, setup tags, and whether you followed the plan in Trade Journal. • Practice on a paper account Use a local simulated account to walk through trades before real money. CloudArc is not a brokerage and does not place live orders for you. • Stay on top of the session Keep a watchlist with quotes and condition alerts so your rules can follow you into the trading day. • Keep work—and data—on your Mac Strategies, backtests, imported bars, journals, and local caches stay on your computer. We do not upload your strategy source code to our servers. Add your own model API keys (DeepSeek, Qwen, or other compatible endpoints); they stay in encrypted storage on your Mac.
