Skipping or timing out a night was far harsher than fighting it. The auto-resolve guessed the outcome with a formula that was about five times more pessimistic than the battle itself, so a well-defended shelter could "lose" a night it would have won. The estimate now follows the same damage, ammo and defense math as the fight, and ammo is spent per kill instead of per bullet, so a played night no longer empties every stockpile in seconds. Two night bugs are fixed: when several turrets dropped the same last enemy at once it was counted twice, and the next wave could fail to start if the last enemy died a moment after spawning, leaving the night hanging until the timer ran out. The night now uses the real enemy health from your difficulty, a Patch order can no longer heal a wall above where it stood at dusk, and the shelter bar shows its actual health. Saving and resuming is safer. Manual saves and iCloud syncs are only taken at the start of a day, so reloading never pays out a day's work twice or rerolls the evening. A night that was interrupted by closing the app is resolved on resume instead of replayed. Endless runs, revives and pending perk choices now survive a restart, and reviving never skips a night or hands out the final victory without the boss. Several systems that were promised but never did anything now do: sickness can strike outside the Plague scenario (and Med Bay, quarantine and Fortitude really reduce it), building levels raise a building's bonus, storage buildings and the Storage Expansion set a real capacity, and Resourceful, Laboratory, Medic Station, Mechanic Genius, Scavenger, Defender and Auto-Turrets do what their text says. The season changes on the right morning, the three-day weather forecast stays stable from day to day, and a world event announced in the evening affects tomorrow, not the day already worked. The main screen has more room for your survivors: the save, menu and settings row moved into the toolbar, the end-day bar is shared by every tab including Missions, resources use one set of icons everywhere, the tutorial is three pages, starting a new game asks before overwriting a run, and the game-over screen scrolls on small phones. Music comes back after a call or an ad, purchases waiting for family approval say so, and the app is about 55 MB smaller. Also in this update: • Sound direction: every direction has its own music and tempo • Survivor cards always show the survivor's current job • Reduce Motion is respected by all looping animations • VoiceOver labels for icon-only buttons and selected list items

A night could get stuck. An enemy stopped moving, nothing could reach it, and the wave never ended. That is fixed: an attacker now gives its place at the barricade back when it falls, so the horde can always be fought down to the last one. Running out of ammunition no longer means the shelter stops shooting. Your people keep fighting with what is left, for a fraction of the damage — and enemies grinding on your defenses now take real damage doing it. The shortage still hurts. It just no longer ends the night for you. Fire concentrates as the wave thins, so the last enemy standing goes down at a sensible rate instead of soaking up shots sized for a whole horde. Later nights are no longer cut short by a timer. A thirty-body wave used to be estimated for you once forty-five seconds were up; the clock now scales with the wave, and you fight it out. Also in this update: • The tutorial, the resource tooltips, the map messages, the mission briefings and the daily tips are translated — they were still English in every language • The in-game date, the night result banners and the survivor trait bonuses now read in your language too

Shelter Fall now speaks your language. The whole game — every menu, every survivor, all 79 events and their outcomes — is translated into German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Japanese, Korean and Simplified Chinese. Your survivors have faces. Sixteen hand-painted portraits replace the old placeholder icons, and each survivor keeps the same face for the whole run. Game Center is here: three leaderboards for longest survival, total kills and victories, plus all 14 achievements synced to your Game Center profile. The night hits harder. The camera shakes when the horde breaches your shelter or a heavy enemy goes down, and impacts land with a moment of weight behind them. Prefer it still? There is a switch in Settings, and Reduce Motion is respected automatically. Also in this update: • Every event choice now states what it costs before you pick it — 33 of them used to spend your food or ammo without saying so • Enemies bleed in their own colors instead of all looking alike • Defense structures redrawn as real objects rather than interface icons • Shelter buildings and run scenarios now have painted cards instead of interface icons

NEW: Night Commands — you now have tactical orders during the defense. Rally your defenders, emergency-patch your weakest wall, or drop a flare on a cluster of enemies. Also new: choose which flank a new defense holds, every difficulty runs the full 20 days, and a post-mortem after each run tells you what ended it. Remove Ads is here — a one-time purchase in Settings, with Restore Purchases. Fixes and improvements: • Spending supplies you do not have now costs morale instead of being free • Boss enemies now actually appear — every fifth night from day 10, and on every final night • Event results now show health lost and survivors gained or lost • Resuming a saved run no longer replays a day you already finished • Enemies stand out against the night, so you can tell them apart • Choices state their full cost up front, including health • Remove Ads owners get the revive and supply drop without watching anything • iCloud save sync now works • World events now have real effects instead of just an announcement • Six survivor perks that had no effect now work as described • Every survivor who levels up gets their own perk choice, not just the last one • Med Bays and Herb Gardens produce medicine, and you can craft it in the Workshop • Prestige now works, with a confirmation step before it resets anything • Endless Mode runs now earn meta points, kills and best-day progress • Achievement and research notifications finally appear on screen • Morale warnings now give you the full grace day they promise • Leaving the app mid-night no longer instantly auto-resolves the battle • Skipping a night is now scored from your real defensive strength • Fixed nights stalling when a wave was cleared by breaches instead of kills
