Strength training that adjusts to every set you log. Import your training log and your first session starts from where you are. 14-day free trial.
Tells you what to lift next. Shows why.
Povver is a strength coach for iOS. It reads every set you log and the history you import, counts hard sets per muscle against the volume that muscle needs, and raises the load when it is earned. A suggested change shows its reason on screen.
WHAT YOU GET
• History import: a CSV export from your current app. Povver reads your last 12 weeks lift by lift, and your first programme starts from that history, with first-week weights from your own lifts.
• Automatic progressive overload: four checks before a load moves, and the step sized from the reps you had left.
• Hard sets per muscle, per week: ten muscle groups, each against its own range.
• Plateau detection: three flat weeks on your best set, not a bad day.
• Program generation: built to landmarks, with the first deload dated.
• Your own exercises: create them and pick the muscles they train.
• Timed and distance sets, in the same log as your lifts.
• Mid-session changes: swaps and drop sets while you train.
• Claude and any assistant: read and write access to your own data over MCP.
HOW IT DECIDES
Hard sets per muscle, per week. Working sets finished at RIR 3 or fewer, ten muscles, each against its own range. Compounds credited to the muscles doing the work.
Four checks before a load moves. Every working set done. The last set no more than one rep harder than the target effort. The top of the rep range reached, where the reps you had left count toward it. At most one failed increase in four weeks. One session is enough when you log RIR. Without it, two in a row. The step is sized from the reps you had left, up to 10% of the load (5% on isolation lifts), and rounded to the weights you load.
A plateau is three flat weeks: your best set within 4% of the latest. One bad session is not a plateau.
Loads raised where they were earned.
Every number comes from a set you logged, or one you imported.
DURING A SESSION
• Swap a lift: same muscles.
• Drop set or back-off set, added mid-session.
• Injury-aware coaching: tell it about a shoulder once. Lifts that load it stay out of the programs and workouts it proposes.
• Scheduled deloads: the first deload is dated when your program is built, and moves when your training says so.
• Log sets fast: weight, reps and RIR, or time and distance, in a grid, with last session's numbers already in the row.
YOUR TRAINING, IN ANY ASSISTANT
Povver runs an MCP server. Claude, or any assistant you use, reaches your account with your permission and works on the same data the app does. It can read every set, per-lift trends and muscle volume, and write routines, templates, workouts and periodization plans.
Your workout data is not used to train AI models. Not by us, and not by our providers.
Povver is a paid strength training app, with a 14-day free trial. The trial includes everything: logging, import, analysis, progression and the coach.

New to Povver? Your first programme now comes from your own training log, and you see it before you make an account.
• Import your log first. Povver reads your training days, equipment, goal and experience from it and fills in the questions for you to confirm.
• The programme keeps the lifts you already do, your usual split and how many days you train. Starting weights and reps come from your last few sessions.
• Look through the whole programme, then save it with Apple, Google or email.
• Have an account already? Sign in from the first screen.
• Imports list every exercise they could not match, so none disappear without you knowing. Timed and distance sets stay timed and distance.
• No bodyweight in your log for older sessions? The import asks you for a rough range at the end. It never guesses one.
• Each workout records the gym you trained at. Povver finds it from your location, or you pick it on a map.
• Stopped a hold early? You can now correct its time afterwards.
• Weekly volume shows a separate colour when a muscle goes past what it can recover from.
