You can now reply to comments. Tap Reply or swipe a comment to the left, and type @ to mention someone so they get a notification. Move your own group post or share back to the top of the list once a day with Bump to top in the ⋯ menu. New posts in your groups now notify you by default. Turn it off for any group with the bell on the group screen. A refined app typeface makes text easier to read, and photos you rotate or crop keep their full quality.

When someone in your community shares a verse or a reflection, you now get a notification. Turn it on or off under Verses & reflections in Notifications. The sign-in screen now marks the method you used last time, and asks once before a different method creates a new account. If the last sign-up step times out, you can finish signing up with what you already entered. If your device language is neither Korean nor English, the app now opens in English.

News about new features and updates from the Koinonia team can now arrive as notifications. Turn it on or off under Koinonia news at the bottom of Notifications, separately from community alerts. Nothing is sent between 9 PM and 8 AM (Korea time). The Bible reader now holds up at the largest text sizes, and verse numbers and the second translation are easier to read.

The Koinonia news screen has a fresh new look. Read what's new at a glance and share it with friends. News pop-ups now appear at most once a day.

When you create a group, choose a Shared group or a News channel. In a News channel, leaders post and members read, leave hearts and comment. Leaders choose per post whether to notify, allow comments or pin it. It reads like a messenger, newest at the bottom. It opens at "New from here", and posts you stay on are marked read. Each post shows how many have read it, never who. Group posts now save with their photos, and scrolling that starts on a card no longer makes it flinch or buzz.

Sharing has been redrawn. Verses, prayer requests and reflections flow in one stream, and a reaction is a heart that never shows who tapped it. Whoever posted a prayer request can tap Add update to continue the story, and everyone who left a heart or a comment is notified. Events can repeat every other week or never end, and you are notified when an event changes or is cancelled. Add to my calendar puts a single event straight into your phone's calendar. Search for an address to add it, then get directions in Naver Map, KakaoMap or Google Maps. Someone who is not yet in your community can request to join from a group invite link; once approved, they continue into the group. Search results for communities and groups now read one line at a time. In Go deeper, choosing a writer opens one piece of their writing. When it covers a whole passage, you see the range first, and once written it opens straight away from any other verse in that passage. The latest sermon on Home, unread posts on the Groups tab and the You tab have all been tidied up. Devices you have signed out of no longer receive notifications.

Go deeper has been rebuilt. Choose a verse and tap Commentary to see who wrote on it, then pick one writer and read an explanation drawn from their work. While it arrives, you see a short note from that writer's life and books. Original shows the text with a lexicon, word by word, without AI. Unread group posts now come as a stack of cards. Mark one as read or save it to read later. Notifications are grouped by day, and news from the Koinonia team now appears in the app. Lock-screen notifications say first which community and group they come from. The whole app now uses Koinonia's own icons and illustrations, and the launch and welcome screens come alive with a moving logo and characters. Settings screens have been tidied up.

Add polls to group posts, with anonymous voting, multiple selections and a closing time. Upload up to 30 photos and videos at once to group albums. Album selection, upload progress and retries have been improved, along with saving media to your device. Sign up with a social account without entering or verifying a separate email. Linking an existing email account still requires verification. Deep View no longer changes text weight and layout as an answer appears. In English, answers and original-language meanings are now shown in English. This update also introduces a new logo and welcome screens, improves forms and keyboard layouts on smaller screens, and fixes sermon notifications from deleted communities.

Koinonia now speaks English. If your phone is set to English, the whole app is — screens, messages from the server, notifications and permission prompts. Also in this version: - Search results highlight the words you searched for, and the card no longer cuts them off - Signing in takes you straight home - Bookmarks moved to a new folder show up in that folder - Invite links offer an install button when the app is not installed yet - Swiping back on the home screen no longer leaves the app
