Now with nursing charts: NEWS2 observations, MUST weights, wound care on a body map, and a medication round that shows what is due, overdue and signed.
Aiderra — the compliance intelligence platform for modern care providers.
Running a care service means juggling shifts, medication, care notes, leave and team oversight — usually across paper, spreadsheets and disconnected systems. The result is admin overload, fragile records, and inspections that mean scrambling to prove care that already happened.
Aiderra brings it together in one app. Your team manages the working day from their phone. You get live oversight of the whole service. And every shift, dose and note is captured once — timestamped, attributed and inspection-ready.
Built for UK care homes, supported living and homecare teams.
SHIFTS & ROTAS
See open, today’s and upcoming shifts at a glance. Know what’s staffed and what needs cover — without the whiteboard.
MEDICATION (eMAR)
Electronic MAR charts with clear due times and one-tap recording. Aiderra flags late and missed doses before they become findings.
CARE NOTES
Structured, reliable notes your whole team can trust — every entry timestamped and attributed, ready for audit.
TEAM MESSAGING
Keep staff and admin connected in one place, without the WhatsApp chaos.
FAMILY UPDATES
Keep families in the loop with scheduled visits and notes — so they stay connected even when they can’t be there.
STAFF & ABSENCE
Manage annual leave, sickness and absence for the whole team, with requests and approvals handled in-app.
Why Aiderra is different
Most care software just stores records. Aiderra reads them — surfacing the gaps before an inspector would. You shouldn’t have to prepare for an inspection. Your system should have been preparing all along.
• One app for your whole care team
• Designed for the phone in a carer’s pocket
• Records captured once, evidenced forever
• Built around how UK care actually works
Aiderra — care management, finally sorted.
Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
This is a big one. The app has been catching up with the web version, and
this release brings across everything from the last few months.
Nursing and residential care
Medication rounds you work through dose by dose. Observations with NEWS2
scoring, weights with MUST, wound records with a body map and review dates,
and daily charts for bowels, sleep, behaviour and pain. Care plans written
section by section in the PRSB domains, end-of-life plans, and NHS funding
streams recorded properly.
Warnings that lead somewhere
When the app tells you something needs attention, it now takes you to the
form that answers it. "Repositioning overdue" opens the repositioning chart.
A wound review opens that wound. Overdue doses open the MAR chart. You no
longer have to find the right place yourself, and a record no longer ends up
somewhere nothing reads it.
Supported living
New note types for the work supported living actually does: money and
personal allowance, with a running balance, receipts and a second signature;
time out in the community; and progress towards the goals in someone's
support plan. Attention flags now work for supported living and domiciliary
services, which they never did before.
For everyone
A new note type for a visit or advice from a health professional, so "the
district nurse came and said to keep the dressing dry" has somewhere to go.
Falls recorded as a note now reach the incident form, so they get to the
falls dashboard and the CQC export.
Rotas and the working week
A rebuilt rota planner. Skill mix on care home shifts, so a shift shows what
it needs by role and is only green when the mix is covered. A team leave
calendar showing who else is off before you book. Mileage, vehicles, visit
scheduling and rounds, room and bed occupancy, and client absences.
Built for the phone you actually hold
Several manager screens were laid out for a desktop and did not fit a phone.
The resident list slid off the side of the screen, so names read as half a
name. The rota week, the month calendar and the approval tabs were cramped
or cut off. Some items in the More menu could not be reached at all. These
have been measured on a phone and rebuilt to fit one.
Fixed
Smart assessment now records and saves properly on iPhone and iPad. If you
recorded an assessment and lost it when you pressed stop, that was this, and
we are sorry — it will not happen again.
Managers are no longer signed out after putting the phone down for a few
minutes.
Opening a staff member's record no longer shows an error screen when a
timestamp is missing.
As always, nothing here changes what you are responsible for recording. If
something looks wrong, tell us and we will look at it the same day.
