xyBlue is for a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) experiment in which a grid of phones measure each other's RSSI values and send the values to a database on an external server.
This app measures the Bluetooth signal strength of cooperating devices nearby (They share a common UUID). No personal information is shared or stored, just a timestamp, self-reported label, and a signal strength indicator get uploaded.
