Your companion's evolution moments are no longer interrupted by pop-ups. We also fixed small bugs and improved translations.
1.8.30 3d ago
Find your next workout more easily with the new Free workouts filter. Sessions where every exercise is skipped no longer count as completed workouts. We also improved privacy controls for users in the EEA and UK, and made the daytime Home screen calmer.

Safer, kinder and more in your control.
* Your first workout now waits until you tap "I'm ready", with a short health note before you start.
* Report or block a name on the leaderboard, in search and in friends, and manage blocked people in Profile.
* New in Profile: Share usage data, to turn off analytics and ad measurement.
* Rest days and planned days off no longer show your streak as at risk, and a workout that runs past midnight counts for the day you started it.
* Gentler calorie goals, larger tap targets, and better text at large sizes and in light mode.
* Fixed: Profile opening slowly on older iPhones, calendar sync with work calendars, and Premium sometimes not recognised right after opening the app.
1.8.28 Oct 8
Your plan now looks ahead.
* See your next session on Home and after every workout: which workout comes next and on which day.
* New here? Your first week is planned for you, and you can move, skip or end a session from Home.
* Progress photos are saved smaller, and the app no longer keeps an extra full-size copy of them.
* A smoother app: faster launch, a lighter workout screen and leaderboard, and less battery for the widget and watch.
* AI workouts and food scans explain what happened when something needs a moment, and offer sign-in when it is needed.
* Fixed: the widget and watch face catching up after a missed update.
1.8.27 Oct 7
Added an adaptive progression system that makes workouts get harder as you get stronger:
* Auto-scaling difficulty - reps and hold times increase as your level rises, and a one-tap "How did that feel?" check-in fine-tunes future workouts. Completely invisible until you choose to use it, so existing users are unaffected.
* Rep logging and strength tracking - log reps, track progress for each movement over time, and celebrate new personal bests.
* AI programs - generate personalized multi-week training plans. Free to preview, Premium to start.
* Exercise variations - once you max out a movement, the app automatically promotes you to a more challenging variation (knee push-ups → standard push-ups → diamond push-ups, for example).
* Easier week - a 7-day recovery mode that temporarily reduces intensity while preserving your progress.
1.8.26 Oct 3
Your companion now joins you for every workout.
* Your first workout starts right away, with your companion counting you in.
* Your companion greets you on Home in its own voice, cheers you on mid-workout, and shows you its evolution journey.
* Finishing a workout feels like a celebration, with rewards that count up and a streak story card to share.
* Workouts are easier to follow: a clearer progress bar, calmer rests, readable instructions, a labeled difficulty and softer demos in dark mode. Lengths show the real time, and calories follow exercise science.
* New in Premium: the Champion outfit, for every companion.
* Home shows "Done for today" after you train, the tab bar shows where you are, a lost streak is explained more gently, and the app opens more smoothly and suits large text better.
* A workout started before midnight now counts for that day. Also fixed: closing a quick session, returning from Premium, streak sync, signing out offline and the Weekly Recap language.

A more reliable streak.
* Streak Shields you buy now always reach your account, even if you bought one while signed out.
* Your streak stays accurate when you add workouts from Apple Health or Strava, or use FitStreak on more than one device.
* The "your streak ended" card goes away as soon as you start a new streak.
* Fixes and polish.
1.8.23 Sep 30
Smarter reminders and a steadier streak.
* Daily reminders now skip days you've already worked out.
* On a free trial? You get a reminder 2 days before it ends, with the date to cancel by.
* Streak Shields and Streak Freeze now work correctly with your Training days.
* The widget and Apple Watch switch to the new day at midnight.
* Permission requests now appear in your phone's language.
* Fixes and polish, including clearer VoiceOver labels and better contrast.
1.8.22 Sep 28
Today's workout comes first.
* Home now opens on today's workout, with its focus and equipment at a glance.
* Only have 5 minutes? A short workout right under it keeps your streak alive on busy days.
* Streak buddies get a weekly goal: work out on 3 different days, both of you, and you each earn 100 FitCoins.
* Tap an exercise in Strength Progress to see your reps over time and when it moved up to a harder version.
* Your companion tells you when you move up to a harder exercise, like Diamond Push-ups.
* Fixes and polish.
1.8.21 Sep 26
Your companion comes to life.
* Tap your companion on Home to see it really move, with new animations for happy, hop, yawn and dance.
* It remembers your milestones, like your 10th workout or a year since your first, and brings them up on Home.
* After a workout it notices how you did compared with last time, and dances when you set a new personal best.
* Streak Shields you earn on two devices now add up, and a shield you have used no longer comes back.
* Signing in on a new phone keeps a streak that is still going.
* If you are ever signed out unexpectedly, your workouts stay on your phone.
* Workouts imported from Apple Health only show Already counted when they really were counted.
* The Apple Watch face now updates at midnight.
* Fixes: evening reminders after you turn notifications on, deleting a meal, and more.
1.8.20 Sep 25
Your companion has a lot more moves.
* Tap your companion on Home: it now has 14 moves, dances away from where you tap, and its mood changes what it does. Tap fast five times in a row for a finale.
* Premium shows as soon as you open the app, instead of the free version for a moment first.
* Reminders come back on their own when you turn notifications on again in iOS Settings.
* The food scanner keeps a photo you just took when it is busy, and shows its progress while it checks your scans.
* The barcode scanner's number pad now has a Done button and no longer covers Log it.
* "Head below the heart" now also leaves out Decline Push-ups.
* Workouts that two apps both saved to Apple Health show as Already counted.
* Sharing your streak with a trainer is paused while we rebuild it.
* Fixes: staying signed in while your phone is locked, syncing after a reinstall, the weekly recap, a 1 day streak on Home, and more.
1.8.19 Sep 24
Your companion leaves you a gift for tomorrow.
* Finish a workout and your companion promises to leave something. Open FitStreak the next day and the gift is waiting on Home, with a note in its own voice and 15 FitCoins.
* Share a text from your companion: a lock screen card carrying the line it would really send you today.
* Before your first workout, Home is your companion and one button. After a workout, your companion and your streak lead the screen.
* Tap your companion on Home and it dances: a hop, a spin, a wiggle or a squash and stretch.
* Profile's support row is now Message the founder, with a reply within 24 hours on weekdays.
* The widget, the Apple Watch app and the watch face now speak the language you picked in FitStreak, and a 1 day streak finally reads as one day.
* Connecting Strava now tells you when permission to see your activities was not granted, instead of looking connected and quietly importing nothing.
* Fixes: leveling up no longer swaps in a harder move that breaks the movement limits you set; Streak Shields you bought survive Reset Progress; when a streak ends you are told, instead of finding a 0 with no explanation; exercise, program and workout names are translated everywhere, and workouts imported from Apple Health or Strava show their real names; editing an AI workout keeps its equipment and description, and AI programs show each session's real length; lowering your water count on one device sticks when your other devices sync; turning notifications off on one device no longer switches reminders off on the others; deleting your account tells you Apple keeps billing an active subscription and offers Manage subscription; a food scan is only spent when a photo is actually scanned; streak protection is counted correctly.
1.8.18 Sep 24
Your workout now keeps time, even when your phone locks.
* The screen stays on during sets and rests, and the timer keeps correct time if your phone locks anyway.
* Meals and water you log after midnight now show under Today while the app is open.
* Signing out now checks that your workouts are backed up first, and tells you before anything unsaved would be lost.
* Signing in on a new phone brings back your own profile and settings.
* Reminders now follow changes you make on your other devices, switch language with you, and no longer warn about a streak that has already ended.
* Fixes: Streak Shield purchases are recorded correctly; close buttons work when you open FitStreak from a link or a notification; turning calendar sync off removes its events; the widget and Apple Watch start each week at zero; the barcode scanner offers Open Settings and Add manually when camera access is off; Profile tells you when Strava needs reconnecting; VoiceOver announces which option you picked during setup.
1.8.17 Sep 17
Meet your companion from day one.
* A new start: see which companion you matched with, get a plan with the dates it reaches its next stages, and commit to it.
* Reminders in your companion's voice, at the time you choose. Nothing is asked until you tap Turn on notifications.
* A clearer Premium screen: see exactly how the free trial works, with a reminder the day before you are charged, and what Free and Premium each include.
* Halloween is coming: earn the Halloween outfit for free with 5 workout days in a row, from October 19 to November 1.
* Fixes: Home no longer stops responding after your first workout; shared images are no longer blank; text and buttons are easier to read in every color theme; the Sunday recap no longer goes missing; your saved profile is kept if it can't load while you set up.
* Using FitStreak on more than one device? Update all of them so your settings stay in sync.
1.8.16 Sep 15
Your companion is the star of this update:
* Onboarding now matches you with a companion based on your answers, and it becomes your starter.
* The home screen widget shows your companion at its current stage instead of a flame.
* Reminders and streak alerts come from your companion, in its own voice.
* Rest days and planned days off: your companion rests with you instead of looking abandoned.
* Share your companion straight from its screen.
* Fixes to Help & Support sign-in and account sync.
1.8.15 Sep 12

- Artwork behind your greeting: nine works from The Met, free
- Add your training days to your calendar, so a session sits with the rest of your week
- Net calories: see eaten, burned and net together on the Nutrition tab
- Share your day's nutrition as a card
- Every exercise in the app now has a demo
