How Movie Ranking Works: When you add a new title, Shortlist pits it against titles already on your list. You just keep picking your favorite. Each head-to-head matchup narrows down exactly where the new title belongs until it finds its place in your ranking. Movies and TV shows get their own ranked lists, so your TV show rankings never get tangled up with your movie rankings.
Never Forget A Recommendation: Add titles to your watchlist the moment someone mentions them, mark what you're currently watching, and leave notes on anything. Who recommended it, why you added it, whatever you need to remember. No more losing a recommendation to the back of your memory.

Finally found my go-to-app for tracking and ranking movies and TV shows. Instead of basic star ratings, you actually rank titles against each other, which is way more satisfying for building a real watchlist. I’ve been a long time Letterboxd user but this app won me over so fast. Love commenting, liking, and comparing my lists with all my friends, and the separate field for “notes” for tagging the people you watched it with, or just mentioning non review stuff about your watching experience makes my logs feel so much more complete
