Portal Moves Since Last Visit has been completely rebuilt. The previous version used timestamps to detect new transfers, which caused it to silently miss real moves — including commits that happened but never appeared in the banner. After multiple attempted fixes, the entire feature was scrapped and rebuilt from scratch. The new version works differently: instead of comparing times, it remembers exactly which players you've seen and what their status was. Every time you open the app, it compares the current data against that record and shows you anything that changed. A player who committed since your last visit will appear. A player who entered the portal will appear. Nothing gets lost to a timezone issue or a timestamp that didn't line up.

Bug Fixes Portal Moves Since Last Visit — Fixed a reliability issue where the banner showing recent player commits, portal entries, and withdrawals wasn't appearing correctly for all users. The feature now works consistently in the App Store build, accurately tracking player movement since your last app open. Live Data Freshness — Player status data (committed, in portal, withdrawn) now refreshes every 4 hours throughout the day instead of only at midnight. Commits that happen in the afternoon will now be reflected in the counts within a few hours rather than the next morning.

Bug Fixes • Fixed: "Portal Moves Since Last Visit" showing outdated activity. Some players who committed or withdrew weeks ago were incorrectly appearing as new moves in this section. The filter now strictly requires that a move occurred both after your last visit and within the past 7 days — stale activity can no longer surface regardless of circumstances. •Fixed: Watchlist alerts not sending for status changes. Players on your Watchlist were not triggering a notification when their status changed (for example, when a watched player committed to a school). Alerts now fire correctly when any watched player's status updates.

This update includes minor bug fixes to improve stability and accuracy: • Fixed an issue where the same portal player could appear twice — as both "added" and "removed" — due to an internal data ID change on the CFBD data source. Affected players will now show correctly without phantom duplicate entries. • Removed a diagnostic debug alert that was accidentally left in the previous release, which briefly appeared when tapping a notification. • Fixed the "Send Test Watchlist Alert" button in Settings, which was not triggering correctly.

Bug Fixes • Fixed a data consistency issue where committed players were incorrectly shown as "Withdrawn" caused by a CFBD ID change that occurs when a player's status updates. Player statuses (In Portal, Committed, Returning, Withdrawn) now resolve correctly throughout the app. • Fixed notification settings not saving between sessions. Notifications • Daily Digest and Watchlist Alert notifications now deliver reliably to your device. • Tapping a notification opens the app directly to the relevant screen. • Notification preferences now persist correctly across app restarts.

Conference Coverage Expansion: The app now covers all NCAA football conferences — not just Power 4 and Group of 5. Added 16 conferences across FBS and FCS: • FBS: FBS Independents (Connecticut & Notre Dame) • FCS: Big Sky, Big South-OVC, Coastal Athletic Association, FCS Independents (Merrimack & Sacred Heart), Ivy League, Mid-Eastern Athletic (MEAC), Missouri Valley, Northeast, Pacific-12, Patriot League, Pioneer League, Southern, Southland, Southwestern Athletic (SWAC), and United Athletic Conference • All conference-level views, filters, and stats throughout the app were updated to include these conferences • Official conference logos added where available via ESPN CDN Portal Change Detection ("What Changed Since Yesterday") • The Home tab now shows a "Portal Changes" banner when players have entered or left the portal since your last session • Displays added and removed players with their school, position, and key stats • Changes auto-clear once dismissed; new changes surface on next data refresh Data Refresh Accuracy Improvements • Fixed: "Last Refreshed" timestamp now correctly updates when opening the app triggers an automatic background refresh • Fixed: Manual pull-to-refresh now properly syncs the timestamp shown on both the Home tab and Settings tab • Fixed: Withdrawn players are now correctly detected and removed from the portal list Player Detail Accuracy • Player detail pages now show the correct "Entered Portal" date (previously could show commitment date instead) • Player class year and eligibility are now accurately calculated accounting for the 2025 season
