Your library, in step on every device. ICLOUD SYNC YOU CAN COUNT ON Changes you make on your Mac now reach your iPhone, and the other way round, without a relaunch. Pull to refresh in the Library fetches what's new. Stars and loops show up as soon as they arrive. A refresh skips audio you already have, so it goes easier on cellular. A STEADIER LIBRARY The Library no longer flashes a loading indicator when something small changes. A new take can no longer overwrite a solo saved in the same second. RECORDING HOLDS UP If a take fails to resume, "Try again" works. A problem during your second or later take now shows up, instead of the recorder looking like it's still running. SMALL FIXES Restore Purchases tells you when there's nothing to restore. Play Last Solo from the app icon no longer opens a solo that's still downloading. The shed is always open.

A new Generator. Every option in view. A NEW GENERATOR The Generator has a new design. Genre, key, tempo and speed sit open the moment you land, in that order. No menu to expand, no hunting. Set what you need. FretShed picks the rest. GENERATE STAYS IN REACH The Generate button is pinned to the bottom of the screen. The mini-player and tab bar never cover it. On a smaller iPhone the options scroll under it, and Generate stays put. Notices about your plan or your generation limit sit right above it, and your Pro badge moves up to the top bar. STRAIGHT TO THE PLAYER A new solo loads into the player, paused, ready when you are. If you're already playing something, it keeps playing and the new solo waits in your Library. Generate reads "In Library" for a moment so you know it landed. RECORDING HOLDS UP Record through an interface with more than two inputs. A take that fails no longer leaves a broken file behind, and playback comes straight back. TIGHTER PLAYBACK Scrubbing, looping and play/pause stay in step, even when you move fast. Now Playing shows whether a solo is actually playing. Play Last Solo and Play Last Recording in Shortcuts and Siri now start the audio, not just load it. The metronome and tuner hand over cleanly when you switch between them. The shed is always open.

A new icon. The loop keeps playing. NEW ICON FretShed has a new icon. THE LOOP KEEPS PLAYING Turn the loop back on while the playhead is past the right handle and playback jumps to the left handle and carries on. Before, it could go silent while the button still showed playing. WHERE THE SOLOS COME FROM The About screen now says where the solos come from: FretShed uses AI to generate them, and the rest is on you. Error messages are clearer too. The shed is always open.

Move the handle. The loop follows. THE LOOP KEEPS UP Pause, move the right loop handle, play. The loop now turns around at the new point, not the old one. Same when you drag the handle further out while a solo is playing. The shed is always open.

Snap to the bar. Snap to the phrase. LOOP WHAT THE MUSIC IS DOING FretShed now hears where the bars and phrases fall in every solo. Flip the loop switch and a Snap row appears under the scrubber. Choose Bar and the loop handles land on bar lines. Choose Phrase and they land where a phrase starts and ends. Tick marks on the scrubber show you where the boundaries are. Bracket a phrase in one drag. No more nudging a handle back and forth to find the downbeat. Off keeps the loop free, exactly as before. Each solo remembers the setting you picked. Snap needs iOS 27. On earlier versions the loop stays free. KEEP YOUR PLACE Flip the loop switch while a solo plays and playback holds its position instead of jumping. A solo from another device appears in the list while its audio is still on the way, and plays the moment it lands. iCloud library sync comes with the subscription.
