Log your reading from a photo, not a keyboard.
SHELVD is a book tracker that keeps up with how much you read, and keeps your Goodreads library and friends right where they are.
FEATURES
• Bookmark: Point your camera at any page or Kindle screen and SHELVD marks your place. It reads the page number and updates your progress in about two seconds. No typing.
• Visual shelves: Your library lives as real, browsable shelves with spine art, not a list of rows.
• Keep your Goodreads updated (Pro): Track everything in SHELVD and your Goodreads profile stays current on its own. Your progress, ratings, and finished books show up there automatically, so the friends you already have keep seeing what you're reading. No other reading app does this.
• Bring your whole library: One upload imports your full Goodreads or StoryGraph history: ratings, read dates, and shelves included.
• Reading stats: A heatmap of every day you've read, your reading pace, time-to-finish predictions, genre breakdowns, streaks, and progress toward your reading goals.
• Book clubs: Read alongside friends, follow live progress on leaderboards, and share what you're into. Create and run your own clubs on Pro.
• Snap a cover: Spot a book you want? Photograph the cover and SHELVD adds it to your want-to-read shelf (your TBR).
• Hands-free Kindle tracking (Founders): Connect your Amazon account once and your Kindle reading logs itself, no photos needed.
Your reading data stays yours. SHELVD never sells or shares your information with third parties.

I absolutely adore this app. It is easy to use, intuitive, and has all the features I was looking for at a glance when I first downloaded it: half stars and a functional widget. Since downloading and using the app, I discovered that I really could use a re-read option. After reaching out the developer, the feature was added within just a day or so! I also love that I can search using the ISBN to add a book if it is not already in the database. While I do go in and double check my integrated websites are saving correctly periodically, I haven’t noticed any discrepancies. Overall, this app ticks all the boxes for tracking that I was looking for and is incredibly easy to use. I find myself motivated to continue reading and the insights it provides are a fun add-on to the experience!
ARC Reader’s Dream Tracker

As an ARC reader and lover of tracking by books, it’s important to be able to post to multiple platforms. It’s exhausting!! Shelvd changed that overnight. I’m still on the trial and have loved that my reading progress cross-posts to multiple tracking sites all in one go. For me, this is the biggest perk of the app. I’d love to see more ARC tracking capabilities (coming soon I think?) and more ways to customize my shelf, especially when book covers or spines aren’t available.
Aesthetically pleasing and easy to use!

I have so enjoyed getting into Shelvd and learning all its features! I love the Status Cards the most, they’re so cute and such a fun way to share books! Any time I’ve run into an issue, a quick email to the Shelvd Team seems to do the trick! Chris is fast to respond and very kind in explanations. I can tell I’ll enjoy this app for a long time to come!
Finally an app I can track audiobooks on!

I’m a huge audiobook listener and logging my progress on other book tracking apps is such a pain. Since most audiobook apps don’t give you a % complete, I had to do math (gross) to calculate my progress. On shelvd, all I have to do is grab a screenshot of my audiobook, upload it to the tracker, and it does all the work for me!!! Seriously life changing.
