Two engines
· System Translation: free, no model download. The system downloads a language pack the first time you use a language.
· On-device AI models: Tencent Hy-MT2 1.8B / 7B, Google TranslateGemma 4B, Qwen3 and Qwen2.5. Pick one to match your device's memory and the quality you need — once downloaded, everything runs offline.
Replace the system translator
Make this your default translation app, then select text in any app and tap Translate. This app opens, translates with your chosen local model, and can replace the original text in place or copy it.
20 languages
Simplified and Traditional Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Arabic, Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Turkish, Dutch, Polish, Ukrainian and Hindi. Star the ones you use and they stay at the top of every menu.
Privacy
No account, no server. Translating with an AI model makes no network requests at all — the only time the app goes online is to download a model.
Purchases
· Lifetime: a one-time purchase that unlocks Hy-MT2 1.8B and the Qwen models, including inside the system translate sheet.
· Pro: everything in Lifetime plus the large models, TranslateGemma 4B and Hy-MT2 7B, billed monthly or yearly.
A free 3-day trial is available. Customers who bought the app when it was paid get Lifetime automatically.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple Account and can be managed in your App Store account settings.
