Check Friends was created to solve exactly that: to help you care for your friendships intentionally, before time slips away. What makes Check Friends different isn’t just counting days. It also takes the type of interaction into account. It’s not the same to: • Give a “like” on social media • Send a message • Make a phone call • Meet in person • See each other in a group With Check Friends you can define, for each friend: • How often you want to stay in touch • What minimum level of interaction you consider enough That way, the app doesn’t just alert you that time has passed — it also tells you if the relationship is getting stuck in interactions that are too superficial. What you can do with Check Friends: • Create friend profiles with notes, phone number, birthday, photo, and address • Log interactions with date, place, notes, and interaction type • See a dashboard with a summary, latest interactions, and people who need attention • Search, filter, sort, and group your friends list in real time • Create groups and log group interactions to update multiple friends faster • Use quick actions to call, message, and open directions • Import from Contacts (with linking to help avoid duplicates) • Receive local alerts when a friend exceeds your contact goal With Check Friends Pro you get: • Unlimited friends (the free plan allows up to 20) • Bulk import from Contacts • Import photos and birthdays from Contacts • Birthday reminders with local notifications (same day or in advance) • Custom default goals for new friends • Backup and restore friends, groups, and interactions to iCloud Drive • Access to future Pro features With Check Friends, you won’t just know how long it’s been since you talked to someone — you’ll know whether the relationship is getting the attention you want to give it. Behavior and alerts - Smarter, less aggressive alerts: notifications are now enabled only when an interaction target is configured. - Optional interaction target: you can use the app without frequency/level goals if you prefer. - If no target exists and you try to enable alerts, we now show a clear setup guide. - Disabling alerts no longer removes your target settings. - Improved dashboard: only relevant alerts are shown, with clearer status separation.
