A lighter, brighter look. SnapLedger now uses a clearer navy design with brighter text, so everything is easier to read. Smarter insights. SnapLedger now tells you when a regular bill hasn't shown up yet this month, when a bill has gone up three months in a row, when one is well above what you usually pay, and how a bill compares with the same month last year. Sharing a bill from inside the app now sends all of its photos together as one PDF. Sharing a PDF to SnapLedger from Files, Mail or Safari works again, even when the app was closed. Scanning several photos at once now shows its progress, and scanned bills use the date the bill was issued instead of the due date.

You can now put a subscription on hold. Taking a month or two off no longer means deleting it: it moves to its own group, drops out of your totals, and comes back with one tap. SnapLedger also keeps an eye on prices for you. Once a month it checks Apple, Spotify, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+, X Premium, Strava, TripIt Pro, HBO Max (US) and Crave (Canada). If a price you pay goes up or down, your subscription updates on its own, sales tax included, and the change is saved in its price history. Anything being watched shows a "Monitored" tag. New here? Pick the United States or Canada when you first open the app so your currency and prices match where you live. Plus better stability and small fixes throughout.

SnapLedger is temporarily free for everyone — no subscription required. Every feature, including backup export, PDF/CSV export, bulk bill import, and subscription scanning, is unlocked for all users right now.

Add a bill straight from any category page — no need to jump back to the main list. Archive categories you don't use anymore instead of deleting them for good — restore them or remove them permanently anytime from Settings. The receipt photo viewer got a full rework: pinch to zoom on any photo, then swipe to the next one without needing to back out first. Bulk imports now automatically catch duplicate bills, so re-importing a statement won't create extras. Backup and restore is now more reliable, even if something interrupts the process partway through. Currency conversion rates now stay up to date automatically. Type amounts naturally when adding a bill by hand, decimal point and all. Smoother, more polished layouts throughout the app.

Fixed swiping between photos on bills with more than one image — swipe left or right to move between attachments, and the photo stays put instead of sliding around. Pinch to zoom still works.
