The solution leverages Apple system frameworks, including CryptoTokenKit, to enable certificate-based workflows on iOS. Designed for organizations requiring certificate-based authentication — including enterprise, government, and regulated environments. MagenQ supports certificate-based authentication and cryptographic workflows in the following contexts: Email (S/MIME) • Email signing and encryption Web Applications (mTLS) • Client certificate authentication via Safari and supported browsers Enterprise and Government Applications • PKI-based authentication • Smartcard-backed digital signatures HARDWARE COMPATIBILITY AirID Readers AirID 2 and AirID 2 mini support smartcard connectivity via: • Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) • USB-C connectivity Compatible USB-C Readers Supported CAC/PIV-compatible smartcard readers from TX Systems connect via USB-C. This enables both wireless smartcard workflows using AirID devices and wired workflows using compatible USB-C readers. Compatibility depends on reader support, smartcard type, and system configuration. STANDARDS AND COMPATIBILITY MagenQ is designed to operate within established CAC, PIV, and enterprise PKI environments, including: • ISO/IEC 7816 (smartcard communication) • ISO/IEC 7816-15 (key and certificate structures) • Common PKI implementations (e.g., enterprise PKI, PIV, CAC) Integration is based on standardized interfaces and does not require modification of backend systems.
