Filling Bird
Walk, travel, fill your map
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Fill your map as you travel.
Filling Bird turns walks, runs, and ground journeys into a personal map. Record a journey, see newly visited hexagons fill in, and keep the places you want to return to.
TWO VIEWS OF YOUR TRAVELS
Walking records walks and runs confirmed with motion and step evidence. Transportation also records ground travel by bicycle, car, or train.
SAVE PLACES WORTH REVISITING
Keep a café, park, or viewpoint with notes and photos. Search for places and addresses; Check in at saved places and organize them by category.
SEE YOUR PROGRESS
Review daily activity and history, explore visited geographical areas, and work toward territory and density badges. Walking also includes step-count achievements. Connected routes can enclose territory without walking every inner hexagon.
EXPLORE WITH A TEAM
Join a team, choose territories to share, and compare personal and team progress in mode-specific rankings.
PLAN AND KEEP YOUR JOURNEYS
Save trip plans and routes, then switch between a whole-trip map and its itinerary. Local activity dates preserve the day recorded at each place as you travel across time zones.
START LOCALLY, SYNC WHEN YOU CHOOSE
Local recording does not require an account. Optional NSG ID sign-in and server sync let you restore supported records on other devices.
Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
Transportation can now fill eligible GPS gaps with routes you can review, correct, or remove. Inspect the actual ground path, preview your changes, and save corrections within 24 hours of the gap ending. Automatic routes remain removable after that deadline. Walking progress stays separate.
This update also improves short-gap recovery, route highlights, correction sync, and map colors. Navigation uses walking routes when Walking is selected, and Japanese labels are clearer.
