Welcome to MINIMAL CRIMES: short noir dark stories, lateral thinking riddles and murder mysteries that sound impossible until you look at them from the side. Read the case, study the evidence, pick the words that crack it open. Most cases take about two minutes. Some will take you a night.
HOW IT PLAYS
• Read a short case file, then finish the theory: a sentence with gaps that you fill with the right words.
• Stuck? Ask for a hint in three steps, from a whisper to a full push. Each one costs you something, so think first.
• Get it right on the first try for a bonus. Every closed case earns coins, 1 to 3 stars and moves you up the ranks, from Rookie to Mastermind.
• Stuck for a while? A free hint opens by itself.
• Some cases are interrogations: question a suspect and catch the lie.
