Beehive Log : Kombix
Visits, varroa, honey harvest
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
The beehive log that never soaks in the rain. Tap it with gloves on. Varroa, brood and harvests, all noted in 30 seconds.
Your paper hive log soaks up moisture, the pages tear and you can no longer find the date of the last varroa treatment. Kombix fixes that, with no subscription.
DESIGNED TO BE USED AT THE APIARY, WITH GLOVES ON
Kombix is the simplest visit log for the hobby beekeeper. You reach the apiary, open a hive, tap a few large buttons in 30 seconds, and it is recorded. No keyboard needed.
What you record at a glance:
• Queen seen (yes, no, not looked for)
• Brood and laying (good, weak, none)
• Honey and pollen stores
• Capped brood
• Varroa and colony health
• Queen cells and swarming risk
• Supers added, colony temper
• Actions taken: fed syrup, treated, super added, frames
Every field is a large touch button, with no keyboard unless you want to add a free note. Haptic feedback on each selection means you feel the confirmation even with leather gloves on or in full sunlight.
INSTANTLY FIND THE HISTORY OF EACH COLONY
Before you open a hive, see at a glance: last visit 9 days ago, average stores, varroa clear. No more guessing between visits. Each hive card shows the full history of your observations, your varroa treatments and your feeds.
NEVER MISS A VARROA WINDOW AGAIN
At the end of each visit, choose a reminder: +7, +14 or +21 days. Kombix sends you a local notification ("Hive 2: visit due today").
TRACK YOUR HONEY HARVEST SEASON BY SEASON
Record each harvest (date, weight in kg, honey type such as acacia, wildflower or chestnut) and check your seasonal total per hive at a glance.
FREE CORE LOG, OPTIONAL KOMBIX+
Kombix is made for the hobby beekeeper with 1 to 10 hives, the one who visits at the weekend and does not need management software. The core log (up to 3 hives, unlimited visits, harvests and treatments) is free forever. Kombix+ is an optional subscription that unlocks unlimited hives, PDF export and iCloud backup. No connected sensor, no scale needed. Just a reliable log that never soaks in the rain and never forgets a thing.
Compatible with Dadant, Langstroth and Warré hives.
Download Kombix before your next visit.
