MileTrack Pro now includes unlimited automatic trip detection. Every new install gets 14 days of unlimited auto-detection; after that, the free plan includes 30 automatically detected trips per month — always visible in Settings before you reach it, never a surprise. Manual trips, the Inbox, reports, and CSV export stay free with no limits. And if you installed MileTrack before this version: you keep unlimited auto-detection forever. This update corrects the 2026 IRS mileage rates, including the mid-year business-rate increase and the first-half medical rate. If you exported a medical mileage report earlier this year, please re-export it — the corrected rates apply automatically. Battery Saver: MileTrack now eases off GPS while you're parked and powers it back up the moment you drive, so leaving Auto Mode on costs less battery. Faster Inbox: tap Business or Personal right on a trip to confirm it in one tap, and set a purpose for several trips at once. New rules can auto-suggest a category based on the day and time of a trip. We also made trip durations and tax exports more accurate, kept your edits and deletions in sync across devices over iCloud, and restored lock-screen Live Activities on more iOS versions.

Bug fixes and reliability improvements: • Your home location now shows correctly on the first trip of each day. • Fixed rare phantom mileage appearing on trips after a short discarded drive. • Trip addresses now update automatically without needing to restart the app.

Improved trip detection accuracy • Trip start locations now correctly snap to your saved places even when iOS restarts the app in the background overnight — no more "wrong street" on your first drive of the day. • Consecutive trips from the same location are now linked, so the start of each leg matches the end of the previous one. • Fixed a rare issue where a brief interrupted trip could add phantom mileage to the next trip recorded.

Fixed: trip start address was wrong after the phone woke from a long sleep. iOS sometimes redelivers old GPS fixes from hours earlier — we now filter these out so your trip is anchored to where you actually parked. Fixed: back-to-back trips were adding phantom distance. The app was incorrectly measuring from a location before your last trip, adding hundreds of meters to the new one. Saved locations now show by name in trip details. When a trip starts or ends at a location like Home, the name now appears correctly instead of just a distance. Data & Backup in Settings lets you browse iCloud and on-device backups and restore a snapshot when you need it.
