Transcribe audio and video locally on your Mac – private, offline, and without upload. Textify-Audio transcribes audio, video, and voice-note files directly on your Mac – with complete privacy. All recordings are processed locally using whisper.cpp. After a one-time model download, the app works entirely offline. PRIVATE TRANSCRIPTION – BY DEFAULT Your recordings never leave your Mac. No cloud upload, no tracking, no data collection. Whisper runs locally with Metal (GPU) or CPU – you decide. INTELLIGENT BATCH PROCESSING Select multiple files at once or drag and drop them onto the app. WhatsApp voice notes are automatically processed in chronological order. TIMESTAMPED TRANSCRIPTS WITH PLAYER Every transcript line shows the exact time. Click any line, and the built-in audio player jumps directly to that moment. Search the transcript and navigate instantly to the source. RECORDINGS WITHOUT FILE EXTENSIONS Google Meet and Google Drive often save MP4 files without an extension. Textify-Audio automatically detects the format and prepares the file for transcription – no manual renaming needed. Drag-and-drop works here too. REPLACEMENT DICTIONARY Fix recurring recognition mistakes with your personal dictionary. Save standard rules and apply them automatically after every transcription. EXPORT & SHARE Save transcripts as .txt or .md. In batch mode, files are exported individually or combined – file names stay visible for reference. 7 LANGUAGES – TRANSCRIPTION AND APP German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Polish. Switch the app language anytime via the flag menu. HARDWARE & MODELS Whisper models download on first use and are stored locally.
