New in this update: • Round Report — a full write-up of every round you play, now generated on our servers so it keeps getting better without waiting for an app update • Elevation heat-maps on the green • Map layers — choose exactly what you want to see: past rounds, distances, compass and elevation, together or not at all • Past rounds on the map — see where you played your shots on this hole before • Stories — watch completed rounds as animated course replays, and browse rounds shared by other golfers • App Talk — join golf discussions with posts, comments, polls and photos • Adding a stroke by hand now always works, anywhere in a round • The AI caddy's strategy line steps out of the way as you approach the green • Shot planner now plans from a clean fairway lie • Faster, steadier distances on the watch • Fixed a crash affecting Apple Watch SE and earlier models • Fixed map overlays disappearing part-way through a round • Fixes to scoring prompts, stroke sync and permissions

New in this update: • 3D hole flyover with real terrain • Redesigned Apple Watch practice screen, with pause • Strokes Gained on every shot • Shot planner with your own club distances • Practice sessions: goals, steps, full/chip/putt counts • Smarter automatic shot and putt detection Fixed: freezes during a round, hole switching accuracy, GPS track loading and multiplayer scoring.

Better hole tracking. The app now follows your round more reliably. It moves to the next hole when you actually get there, stays put while you finish the one you are on, and no longer changes holes while you are looking at the map or watching a 3D flyover. Browsing ahead to another hole no longer moves your round. To play holes out of order, tap the hole while you are standing on it. Also fixed: resuming a round keeps your place, and shots are matched to the right hole more accurately.

MORE RELIABLE SWING CAPTURE Your Apple Watch now notices if swing detection quietly stops mid-round and restarts it on its own, so a round no longer ends up with holes missing their shots. SHOTS LAND ON THE RIGHT HOLE The hole your shots are recorded against now follows where you are actually playing, not the hole you happen to be looking at. Browsing the scorecard, skipping a hole, or not entering a score no longer sends shots to the wrong hole. SHARPER PUTT DETECTION Putts are recognised more accurately near the green, only the strongest suggestion is offered when several are close together, and low-confidence ones fade rather than clutter the map. MORE ACCURATE ON-COURSE DISTANCES Distances, hazard readouts and AI caddy suggestions now use a tighter live position, so the numbers match what you see on the map. FLYOVER VIDEO EXPORT Export a hole flyover with full 3D terrain, a satellite surround and slope arrows that point downhill. ALSO IN THIS UPDATE - Refined stroke editing controls and navigation - Apple Watch score prompts no longer appear for holes already scored on the phone - Fixes to GPS tracking, course search and round syncing

3D HOLE FLYOVER See the hole before you play it. On courses with 3D terrain data, watch a full flyover with real elevation, distance arcs and hole info. Tap or drag anywhere on the hole to measure the distance to that exact spot. SMARTER SWING DETECTION Putts and greenside chips are recognised far more reliably, and each detected swing now shows how confident we are. New per-round sensitivity controls let you fine-tune detection from the stroke editor. APPLE WATCH RELIABILITY Fixed several cases where the watch could fall out of sync with your round, stall mid-round, or fail to recover after briefly losing contact with your iPhone. Score confirmation on the watch is now stable. SMOOTHER ROUNDS Swing scoring now runs off the main thread, so hole changes and scrolling stay responsive during a round. ALSO IN THIS UPDATE - Course search now ranks exact name matches above nearby courses - More accurate fairway and water outlines on the map - Fixes to scoring, navigation and GPS tracking
