The widget now keeps up with your devotional plan: once you finish a day, it moves on to the next one by itself the following morning. Morning reminders quote the same verse Today shows, and a devotional plan now sets the day's affirmation even if you have chosen your own in Settings.

The widget now says Mercies. Its header on the Home Screen and Lock Screen still showed the app's old name, and so did journal exports. Both are fixed.

Fixed a bug that could leave a reading plan stuck on the same day. If a day was ever marked complete out of order, the plan worked out your current day from how many days you'd finished rather than which one you hadn't — so it kept landing on a day it already had, and finishing the devotional quietly changed nothing. It now finds the first day you haven't completed, and existing plans correct themselves on next open. Thank you to the reader who kept writing in until we found it.

• Your own photo on the Today screen — choose one from your library and it becomes your backdrop • Share cards now use the backdrop you actually picked, instead of always falling back to the plain card • Share straight from Settings → Share Card, without going back to Today • Uploaded photos keep more detail and no longer look soft on Stories • A skipped reflection stays open all day, so you can come back to it • The reflection question now matches on the Pray screen and the writing screen • Devotional plans show which day you're on, so a repeated verse makes sense • The affirmation picker has a "Daily affirmation" option to switch back from a custom one • The home screen widget now moves to the new day on its own • Prayer drafts can be added to your list directly, or edited first

• Fixed a mismatch where the reflection question shown on the Pray screen differed from the one shown when writing your reflection • You can now return to a reflection you skipped, any time that day • Added a "Daily affirmation" option in the affirmation picker, so you can switch back from a custom one on the same screen where you chose it • The daily reflection question now varies from day to day outside of devotional plans

Daily Grace is now Mercies — a new name, and a rebuilt morning. • Today is a single full-screen verse. Open the app and it's there. • Swipe up for the next affirmation, now a proper pager • A new Pray tab holds the guided prayer, reflection and close • Prayer requests — track what you're bringing to God, and mark it answered • Devotional plans, with the first one free • A new app icon and launch screen • Redesigned Settings and journal • Fixed: the paywall could open without prices on a slow connection • Faster, quieter, and more accessible throughout

Ask About Today's Verse — a new Guidance space in Explore. Search Scripture by topic, find a word for whatever you're carrying today, and draft a personal prayer from it. The Daily Grace widget now lives on your Lock Screen as well as your Home Screen — six sizes in all, including small, medium, large, and three Lock Screen styles. It's free, and it updates on its own each morning. New in Settings: a step-by-step guide for adding the widget, in case iOS makes it hard to find. Prayer Requests: search everything you've prayed, draft a prayer from just a few words, and see answered prayers marked at a glance. Streak milestones at 3, 7, 30, and 100 days, with a card you can share. A preview of your very first affirmation during setup, so you know what you're saying yes to. Faster launch, and quieter reliability fixes throughout.

Welcome to Daily Grace. Start each day with a scripture-rooted affirmation, guided prayer, and space to reflect — plus devotional plans, journaling, and daily reminders. We'd love to hear what you think.
