PropertyNote has a whole new look, new charts, handy shortcuts and a long list of fixes. NEW DESIGN • A clean, modern look on every screen, in dark or light mode. Pick System, Light or Dark in Settings. • Properties appear as photo cards, and each property opens with a large photo. • Tenants get initials avatars, with Record Payment right on their page. • Text follows your iPhone's text size, all the way up to the largest accessibility sizes. NEW CHARTS • Home shows your rent collected over time and your key numbers at a glance. • Finances shows net income over the last 12 months, income vs. expenses by month, an expense breakdown by category, and ROI for each property. • Charts work with VoiceOver: each month and category is read aloud with its amount. NEW FEATURES • Call, text or email a tenant or vendor straight from their page. • Tenant cards show when a lease ends within 30 days, and Home highlights leases ending within a week. • Empty lists explain what to add and give you a button to get started. IMPROVEMENTS • Delete and Remove buttons are now red, so they're easy to spot. • Save stays off until a required name or title is filled in, when adding or editing. • Backups now include everything: expenses, rent payments, maintenance, communication logs, lease history and journal entries. Restoring links tenants to their properties and no longer creates duplicates. • The yearly plan shows your real savings. • Restore Purchases tells you when there's nothing to restore. • Photos load faster. • Long names and addresses wrap neatly in PDF reports. • CSV exports open correctly and safely in spreadsheet apps. REMINDERS • Refreshing reminders keeps your maintenance reminders. • Editing a tenant replaces their old lease alerts, and former tenants no longer get rent reminders. • Deleting a property also removes its reminders. • Recurring maintenance reminders follow each job's next due date. BUG FIXES • Lease end dates follow the calendar exactly. A 12-month lease used to end a few days early. • ROI uses your last 12 months of income instead of an inflated all-time figure. • Late and partial payments count toward rent collected, totals and ROI. • Completed maintenance jobs use their actual cost in Finances. • Cancel discards your changes on every edit screen. • The security deposit is saved when you add a tenant. • Adding a maintenance request no longer creates a blank property. • Maintenance requests show their assigned vendor instead of "Unassigned". • Tenant search no longer shows unrelated tenants. • A property with no units is no longer shown as occupied. • New leases show the full number of days remaining. • Home no longer briefly counts a tenant you haven't saved yet. • Fixed a doubled back button on vendor and maintenance pages. • Your data stays safe if an update can't open it: the app shows a message instead of starting fresh.
