Version 1.5 brings two major additions and several improvements. Guided onboarding — A four-panel introduction now greets first-time users, explaining what a commuted value is, what to gather from your annual pension statement, and how the app's three tabs work together. Tap the book icon in the Inputs header any time to revisit it. Share Scenario — A new Share Scenario button in the Results tab generates a professionally formatted PDF of your full CV calculation — component breakdown, actuarial assumptions, LIRA/taxable split, and legal disclaimer — and opens the iOS share sheet so you can email it, AirDrop it to your advisor, or save it to Files. CIA interest rates now automatically advance to the latest available month when fresh rates load.

This update adds a guided onboarding flow, PDF scenario sharing for CV Pro users, and improved premium pricing display using live App Store data. It also includes polish and reliability improvements around the purchase experience.

Restore Purchases improved — the Restore Purchases button now shows a loading indicator while syncing, and confirms the outcome with a clear success, not-found, or error message. A successful restore automatically dismisses the paywall. Updated app icon — the CV Pro icon has been refreshed with a larger, bolder CV mark and a clean full-bleed navy background. Updated privacy policy — in-app privacy policy link now points to cvcalculator.ca/privacy.

The calculator fetches the latest CIA Section 3500 rates directly and merges them with the built-in rate table, so you always see current data.
