Smoother upgrades: unlocking Plus from the map layers, trail details, or a sighting now keeps you right where you were — drafts and all. Plus more reliable purchase handling.

• NatureFind Plus now offers a 7-day free trial on the monthly plan, not just yearly. • Clearer intro to Plus right after setup, so you can see what's included before you start exploring. • Refreshed App Store screenshots and listing.

Clearer Plus upgrade info with accurate local pricing, plus small fixes.

NatureFind Plus subscriptions are now available — unlock offline maps, 3D terrain, verified trails, AI trip planning, and unlimited saved parks. Plus bug fixes and performance improvements.

Small release, big housekeeping. • Tapping a park from the home-screen widget now opens it reliably — even right after launch • Added Apple's privacy manifest: a formal declaration of the data NatureFind uses and why. No tracking, ever. • Under-the-hood performance and reliability improvements More adventures coming soon — from Banff to Patagonia.

Memories now keep your AI work. Hike journals, wildlife and plant IDs, and trip plans used to disappear when you closed the screen. They don't anymore — every successful generation auto-saves to your profile so you can revisit, share, or come back to it on a rainy day. What's new • AI Hike Journals, Wildlife & Plant IDs, and Trip Plans auto-save to Memories on your profile • New "Parks Visited" view: every park you've saved, journaled, planned a trip to, or recorded a hike in — all in one scrollable list • Filter chips on Memories so you can browse by Parks, Journals, IDs, or Trips • Park photos in Explore now load reliably (no more placeholder cards) • AI Hike Journal handles bigger photo batches more dependably, with clearer error messages if a generation can't be made Reliability • Hike recordings now persist correctly to "My Hikes" • Park image loading on Explore is faster and uses less memory Tap any AI feature in Activities, then check your profile to see your saved Memories.

Your hike, recorded. v2.5 lets you track every hike in real time — distance, elevation, route, pace — and save it to your profile. Plus: - Wildlife & Plant ID: snap any species, get the full identification (Plus) - AI Hike Journal: turn your photos into a magazine-style story (Plus) - Smart Morning Brief: a personalized rec drawn from your saved parks each day - Today's Sky on every park: sunrise, sunset, golden hour, moon phase - Active Wildfires layer: every US fire perimeter live on the map - My Passport: stamp the parks you've visited, track all 63 NPs - Offline maps: download any park's full tile pack for the backcountry (Plus) - Community notifications: get notified when someone posts

The biggest NatureFind update yet: Pre-Hike Intel — see drive time, parking pressure, active wildfires, and park fees on every park, before you leave. HikeIQ — every trail now has a 1-10 difficulty score across distance, elevation, terrain, and route-finding. Park Comparison — pick two parks, compare conditions side by side, decide which one to visit today. Search & Spotlight — type any park name on the map to fly there, or search NatureFind parks straight from your iOS home screen. Offline mode — full park list cached on first launch, so the map works even with no signal. Plus members also get AI Park Briefings, the Daily Moment park highlight, and a saved-park-aware Trip Planner. Plus tons of polish: hero photo carousels, share sheet, scroll-to-top, branded empty states, and a What's New tour.

Verified Difference: every trail and park now shows where its data comes from — National Park Service, Recreation.gov, or community-mapped via OpenStreetMap. Tap any park to see the new About this listing card. Bug fixes: - Wildlife sightings now record the photo's actual GPS location instead of where you uploaded - You can now delete your own community posts, sightings, reviews, and trip reports — tap the more menu on any post you made

NatureFind 2.2 — Achievements That Show NEW: Live achievement progress on every Memory. The "Coming soon" placeholder is gone. Each Memory now shows the badges that match the place — which you have earned, which are still in progress, and exactly how close you are to the next one. NEW: Earned badges on community posts. Your medals ride along on every sighting, photo, review, and trip report. Other explorers can see what you have accomplished — and tap any strip to view your full profile. NEW: Per-achievement progress bars. Tap the achievements row on any Memory to see every applicable badge with live progress against the target. IMPROVED: Cleaner Memory detail layout with the trophy row promoted next to your photos and notes. FIXED: Achievement loading is faster and more reliable across tabs. Thanks for exploring with us.

NatureFind 2.0.5 — Photo Upload Fix FIXED: Resolved an issue that could prevent photos from uploading when reporting a sighting, posting a review, saving a memory, publishing a trip report, or sharing to the community feed. All photo submissions now go through reliably. Thank you for the reports. The rest of what shipped in 2.0.4 (Trip Reports with Apple Health import, 35 earnable achievements, public profiles, share cards, and My Activity) is included here too.

NatureFind 2.0.3 — Share Your Experiences NEW: Memories — Save any place to your profile with one tap. Attach photos, write reviews, and share your experience to the Community feed, iOS Messages, or social media. NEW: Review any place — Star-rate and write reviews for national parks, state parks, trails, campgrounds, and activity spots like golf courses, marinas, and bike shops. Edit or delete your own reviews from anywhere. NEW: Editable profile photo — Tap your avatar in Profile to personalize. NEW: Community polish — Live activity stats, personal rank on the Top Explorers leaderboard, filter chips on Reviews (My Reviews, 5-Star, by place type), double-tap to scroll to top, and a little nature-themed confetti to celebrate your posts. IMPROVED: Nearby Activities are strictly filtered. The Golf Courses section now shows only golf, driving ranges, and indoor simulators — not unrelated businesses. Same treatment for Camping, Boating, Kayaking, and Mountain Biking. IMPROVED: Every place header shows its average star rating and review count at a glance. IMPROVED: Write-review shortcut added to the top of every place screen so you can rate in one tap. FIXED: Storage security hardened — your profile and memory photos are now protected from cross-user overwrite.
