TrueSpeed: Internet Speed Test
WiFi, Ping, Jitter & DNS
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
New: Live Activity & Dynamic Island — watch your speed test from the Lock Screen. No sign-in. No GPS. No analytics SDK. Just an accurate result, every time.
TrueSpeed measures your real internet performance — download, upload, ping, jitter, and packet loss — in about 20 seconds, with no sign-in and no GPS access.
WATCH IT LIVE
See your test in progress from the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island with Live Activity — no need to keep the app open.
EVERY METRIC THAT MATTERS
• Download & upload speed (Mbps)
• Ping (latency) and jitter
• Packet loss
• Your ISP name, IP address, and approximate location — from IP data, never your device's GPS
TRACK IT OVER TIME
The Insights tab logs every test locally on your device with a trend chart, so you can see whether your connection is actually getting worse — useful the next time you call your ISP.
DIAGNOSE, DON'T JUST MEASURE
The Tools tab adds a custom ping utility and a DNS benchmark, so you can tell whether a slowdown is your network or your DNS.
BUILT-IN ACCURACY CHECKS
TrueSpeed flags when a VPN may be skewing your results, so a low number doesn't send you chasing the wrong problem.
SHARE YOUR RESULT
Export a clean result card and share it anywhere in one tap.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account, no login, no GPS access, no analytics SDK. Results are stored only on your device — never uploaded or sold. Clear your history anytime from Insights.
Speed tests run against Cloudflare's public test network.
TrueSpeed is free and supported by ads, which are hidden while a test is actively running.
