Librarius: Books & Reading
Book clubs, swaps & meetups
Free · Designed for iPad
The place where paper books circulate again and readers meet. Finished a novel at 3 a.m. and needed to talk about that ending? Your people are here.
Librarius is not just a scanner to log what you read: it is a refuge for those who love secondhand bookstores, with tools to connect with readers in your city.
We created a sanctuary for those who love secondhand bookstores, designed with the elegance of a classic library, but packed with the tools to connect with people in your city.
WHAT WILL YOU FIND HERE?
Bring order to your literary chaos
Build your virtual library in seconds. Separate the books you physically own (your Catalog) from the ones you are dying to get your hands on (your Wishlist). Show off your favorite editions and keep a beautiful, visual record of your life as a reader.
Barter: Let go of one book, grab another
That novel you already read and won't ever touch again might be the treasure someone else has been hunting for months. Librarius connects you with people in your area to swap books hand-to-hand. No middleman, no expensive shipping. Just two readers giving a story a second life.
Events that break the routine
Reading doesn't always have to be a solitary act. Explore your city's map and sign up for gatherings created by other users:
• Silent Reading Parties: Meet up at a cafe, turn off your phones, and read together in complete silence.
• Blind dates with a book: Swap stories wrapped in craft paper, guided only by three mysterious clues.
• Routes and Hunts: Discover hidden gems on tours of secret bookstores or neighborhood barter fairs.
Local Circles and Athenaeums
Fascinated by psychological thrillers or do you collect classics? Join thematic "Circles" to debate without limits, or join your city's "Athenaeum" to make books circulate faster among neighbors.
Librarius is for those who underline pages, for those who collect bookmarks, and for those who believe that a good story should always be shared.
Make room on your shelf and join the fellowship.
