A new line in Settings, “Buttons in Landscape”, moves them to the other edge or back under the card. • Upright on the unfolded screen the deck's header moves into the phone's own top bar, so the counter, the order and the trash sit where the system keeps them and the picture gets the room back. • Tabs change the moment you tap them: Totals and Settings are there at once and their numbers arrive a moment later. • The trial and Pro windows fit the wide screen properly, and text and counters no longer press against the bar along the side.

The same actions are in Shortcuts and on the Action button, and a Control Center button opens the deck in one press. • Photos that live in iCloud are much easier on the phone: cards use the picture your iPhone already has, and the next few are warmed quietly ahead of you. Far less heat, battery and data. • Sharing hands the file over the moment the destination asks for it, under its own name. Telegram, AirDrop and Files receive it every time. • A compressed video keeps its place and date inside the file, and trimming no longer fails when the cut ends at the very end of the clip. • A month you have already been through can be swept again. Large Videos can be dealt heaviest first, newest, oldest or shuffled, and Compress is always in the “More” menu. • The home screen opens with its rows in place, lists open with their tiles ready, and pictures come into focus instead of popping in. Sweepr 2.0 is a new app on the inside. A HOME SCREEN THAT SHOWS THE WHOLE LIBRARY Instead of one endless deck, the home screen is now a catalogue: photos, screenshots, videos and screen recordings, by day, month and year, plus your albums, your largest videos and your duplicates. Swipe a day, a month, a whole year, or everything. THE DECK GOT A TRASH Left swipes no longer vanish one by one. They wait at the top of the deck, you get a single confirmation on the way out, and you can put anything back before it goes. COMPRESS AND TRIM, IN THE BACKGROUND Compress heavy photos and videos, cut the dead minutes off a long clip, and send the heavy original to the trash. Progress shows on the home screen, in the Dynamic Island and on the lock screen, and the work carries on while you do something else. DUPLICATES AND SIMILAR SHOTS Exact copies and near-identical bursts, side by side, with the best one already suggested. You choose what stays. TOTALS WORTH READING How much you have freed, kept and deleted, a streak, an activity map, and a card you can share. A NEW LOOK, BUILT FOR THE DARK A deep observatory background, a full set of icons drawn for Sweepr, and flat SF Pro type. This is the biggest update Sweepr has ever had. COMPRESS INSTEAD OF DELETING A second deck, for the photos that are too big to keep and too good to lose. Swipe right to compress, left to keep as is. Sweepr saves a full-resolution copy with the same date, place, and album, and sends the heavy original to Recently Deleted. HEIC or JPEG, three quality levels, and a size threshold you set yourself. If compressing would save less than 10 percent, Sweepr tells you the photo is already optimal instead of pretending it saved you something. VIDEO COMPRESSION Pick a smaller size and a frame rate: the same as the original, 30 fps, or 24 fps. The video stays where it is, only lighter. BROWSE THE WHOLE LIBRARY By month, by day, and by album: Favorites, Selfies, Portrait, Live Photos, Bursts, Panoramas, Long Exposure, Animated, Recently Added, and your own albums. Photos, Screenshots, and Videos now have their own sections, each with a live count of what is still left to review. STATISTICS, REBUILT Charts by Days, Weeks, Months, and Years. Long-press any bar to see the exact numbers for that period. Streaks, space freed, and delete rate. LIFETIME Pro is now available as a one-time purchase, not only as a subscription. "SELECTED PHOTOS" EXPLAINED If you gave Sweepr access to only some of your photos, a banner now spells out what that costs you: in that mode iOS will not let the app delete anything.
