This update adds Privacy Choices to Settings. Where your region requires consent for ads, such as the UK and the EU, you can now review or change your choice in Settings at any time. If you decline consent, Re:Count no longer asks for permission to track you. Ads are now limited to content suitable for a general audience. Thanks for using Re:Count!

PIN COUNTERS Pin the counters you use most and they stay at the top of the list. The Large widget shows pinned counters first. ARCHIVE Archive a counter you have finished with. It moves to a collapsed section at the bottom of the list, keeps its history, and leaves widgets, Siri, notifications and your Watch until you unarchive it. UNDO After you count, an Undo button appears for a few seconds. It takes back that count, and the history and your Watch follow. Thanks for using Re:Count!

CONTROL CENTRE Add a counter to Control Centre, the Lock Screen or the Action button. One tap adds a step without opening the app. Requires iOS 18. COUNT FROM A REMINDER Daily reminders and streak reminders now have a button that adds a step to the counter. Tapping the notification itself opens that counter. FOCUS FILTERS Choose tags for a Focus in Settings. While that Focus is on, Re:Count shows only counters with those tags, and reminders for the others stay silent. Show All brings back the full list. WIDGETS Widget text now picks black or white by measuring the counter's colour, as the app already does, so yellow, green and teal widgets stay readable in dark mode. In StandBy, the counter's colour moves to its icon. ALSO Reminders for counters locked with Face ID no longer show the counter's name. Fixed a crash when adding a counter on iOS 17.0. STATS See every counter at once: an activity grid, totals for the period, your goals with how they are tracking, and any streaks running. Open it from the counter list. A YEAR OF HISTORY Each counter's history gains an activity grid and a year range, alongside the existing week and month. GOAL DEADLINES Give a target goal a date to be met by. Re:Count shows how long is left and whether you are keeping pace. BACKUP AND RESTORE Export everything to a file and import it back: counters, history, notes and tags. You choose whether locked counters are included. THREE MORE LANGUAGES Vietnamese, Thai and Indonesian, bringing the total to fifteen. ALSO The grid layout is now iPhone-only. This update fixes a crash on iPad. Re:Count could quit while it was running in the background on iPad. Nothing was visible when it happened - the effect was that reopening the app started it fresh, instead of returning you to the counter you had open. Nothing else has changed in this version. Organise your counters - and find them fast. • TAGS. Group counters however you like - "Health", "Work", "Daily" - and filter the list by tapping them. Give each tag a colour. A counter can carry several, and picking more than one narrows the list to the counters that have them all. • FIND ANY COUNTER FROM ANYWHERE. Counters now appear in iPhone search. Swipe down from the Home Screen, type a name, note or tag, and tap the result to open it. • QUICK ACTIONS. Press and hold the app icon to add a counter or jump straight to one you've used recently. • TAPPING A WIDGET NOW OPENS THAT COUNTER, instead of dropping you on the counter list. • FOUR MORE LANGUAGES: Traditional Chinese, Dutch, Turkish and Polish - thirteen in all. • Fixed: text on green, yellow and teal counters was too faint to read comfortably in dark mode. Re:Count now measures and picks whichever of black or white actually reads better, as it already did for custom colours. Those counters will show dark text in dark mode from now on. A smaller update, focused on support. • Feedback you send from Settings now arrives with your app version, device model, iOS version and language attached. Now in eight languages — and easier to use for everyone. • Re:Count now speaks Simplified Chinese, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese and Korean, alongside German, Spanish, French and Japanese. Widgets, the Watch app, notifications and Siri phrases are all translated too. • A thorough VoiceOver pass. Each counter reads as a single row — name, count, streak and goal progress — with counting offered as its own action. History charts are navigable point by point, and the colour swatches and day-of-week picker now announce their names and whether they're selected. • The count in your list and a counter's name grow with Dynamic Type. • Tips point out the gestures that were hiding: swipe a counter to reset it, swipe up and down on a counter's screen to count, and add a widget to your Home Screen. • Fixed: text on custom-coloured counters now picks whichever of black or white is genuinely easier to read — separately for light and dark mode. • Fixed: no more empty ad strip when an ad doesn't load. Fix a mistake, find a counter fast, or just ask Siri. • Delete an entry from a counter's history. Swipe it away and the value, the chart, your streak and the CSV export all recalculate. • Notes: describe what a counter actually tracks — "only counts if it's 20 minutes or longer" — shown under the counter's name. • Search your counters by name or note. Handy once you're tracking more than a screenful. • Siri and Shortcuts: "Add one to Water in Re:Count", or ask "What's my Pages Read in Re:Count". Re:Count now speaks your language! • The entire app is now available in German, Spanish, French and Japanese — including widgets, the Apple Watch app, watch-face complications and notifications. • New Language shortcut in Settings jumps straight to the system page where you can pick a language just for Re:Count. • Fixed the goal label on the history chart being cut off in longer translations. • Fixed VoiceOver reading out the value of locked counters — it now simply says "Locked". Make your counters yours - and let them work for you. • Icons: give each counter its own symbol from a set of 38 (health, fitness, food & drink, habits, money, and more). Icons show everywhere - lists, widgets, your Apple Watch, and watch-face complications. • Custom colours: go beyond the standard palette with a full colour picker. Text automatically adjusts to stay readable on any colour you choose, and your colours sync to iCloud and your Watch. • Auto-reset: counters can now reset to zero daily, weekly, or monthly -perfect for "glasses of water today" or "workouts this week". Resets are recorded in history, so your charts and streaks stay accurate. • Streak reminders: opt in to a gentle nudge if you haven't logged anything by a time you choose, so your streak doesn't break. Logging from the app, a widget, or your Watch silences that day's reminder. • Reminder days: daily reminders can now fire only on the days you pick - great for habits that aren't everyday habits. • Fixed a crash that could occur on iPad when scrolling the Counter Settings screen.

Circular, rectangular, inline and corner styles are all supported. • Daily reminders - Give any counter its own daily reminder at a time you choose. - You can now reorder your counters. Tap 'Edit' in the list and drag them into any order you like - put the ones you use most at the top. The order carries carries across to the grid view and to your Apple Watch - Bug Fix: On Apple Watch, Digital Crown rotation was incorrectly tied to step value, so counters with a large step value required a large amount of Digital Crown rotation to change the counter. One crown movement now counts as one input at any step value.
