Mileage is now built into the app: your trips on a calendar and a map, Work or Personal labels, monthly totals, driving time by saved place, cost estimates and CSV export. Turn on weekly and monthly summaries in Settings. New Parcel dashboard: lock onto a property to see its signal grid in 2D and 3D, coverage quality, carriers, and live readings from your other devices. Your survey files can now back up to iCloud Drive. Help & Support is now in Settings.

New: Cell Surveys Pro. • Signal heatmaps, coverage maps and survey recording stay free. • Pro adds parcel boundaries and property details on the map, operator mode for locking a parcel and mapping its signal, and automatic mileage and trip tracking with trip summaries, saved places and vehicles. • If you already use Cell Surveys, Pro is free for your first three months. You don't need to do anything. Settings › Cell Surveys Pro shows when it ends. • Pro is $4.99 a month or $39.99 a year, with a 7-day free trial. Your subscription also unlocks Pro on the web dashboard.

Stability fixes — the app should no longer freeze or close on its own. • The map no longer freezes or shuts the app down. Each heatmap square was drawn on its own, and with a large map that work could stall the app until iOS closed it — even in the background. The whole map now draws at once, in a few milliseconds. • The map opens at the right zoom level instead of zoomed far out. • Fixed whole drives occasionally going unrecorded. If iOS stopped sending location updates without warning, nothing woke the app back up; it now always keeps a way to resume. • With Auto-Upload switched off, opening the map no longer uploads your surveys to Google Drive. • New: Ask AI from a survey's detail screen to chat about that survey's data. • New: a Rate Cell Surveys row in Settings. Ratings help other people find the app. • Fixed several rarer crashes, including when saving a survey hits a storage error, when a survey file contains damaged values, and when looking up your county.

Recording fixes — including two that were quietly costing you readings. • Surveys now keep recording while the phone is locked. Readings taken with the screen off were being dropped with no error at all. Files already on the device are repaired on the next launch. • The Data Collection Consent switch now actually stops collection. Switching it off previously stopped recording only until the next launch, and readings already queued still uploaded. • Recording no longer goes quiet in the background. iOS could pause location updates and leave the app with nothing to wake it; every power level now holds a wake source, and the app recovers if updates are paused anyway. • A drive that runs past the end of a scheduled recording window is recorded to the end of the drive, instead of being cut off mid-road. • Operator mode drops out of full power after 15 minutes parked. • Exported surveys handle unusual network and device names. A name containing a comma used to shift every later column in the file. • Parcels: tap anywhere inside a lot to open its details, including a lot drawn underneath another one. Lot size now reads in acres — it was labelled square feet, so small lots showed as "0".

Parcels now follow the map. • Pan or zoom and parcel boundaries load for the area you're looking at, instead of only around your own location. Previously you had to drive somewhere to see its parcels. • Parcels also load while recording is idle — outside a scheduled recording window they never appeared at all. • The map explains an empty parcel layer instead of just showing nothing, and keeps the last set on screen when the connection drops. • Fixed a recording schedule that was switched on with no time windows: it silently stopped recording altogether instead of running unrestricted.

Record a cell signal session whenever you want. • Cellular is now one of the sensors you can pick for an on-demand survey, with a live signal chart while you record. • iOS doesn't publish exact cellular signal, so these readings are estimates — the app marks them "(est.)" when it's working from your network type alone. • The map opens zoomed in to where you are instead of the whole world, and the zoom buttons work while recording.

Getting started is quicker. • Signing up is one screen instead of four, with the same terms and privacy choices. • Prefer not to allow background location? The app now works without it — surveys record while it's open, and you can turn background collection on later in Settings. • Settings shows the correct app version again.

Sign in with Apple is here. • Sign in with Apple, alongside Google — including Hide My Email. • Delete your account and all uploaded survey data from inside the app. • Google Drive backup connects separately, so it works whichever way you sign in. Plus faster maps, especially if you've been collecting for a while. • The coverage heatmap no longer slows down as your survey history grows. While a survey is running, refreshing the map used to re-read your entire history every 30 seconds — it now reads only what's new. • New signal readings appear on the map immediately, instead of re-processing every point already recorded. • Fixed saved survey timestamps being discarded when read back. • Less processing while a passive survey runs in the background.
