Live location for emergencies is here. • When you're in a room with an active emergency alert, you can now share your location with your safety team so responders can find you fast — and watch you move to safety in real time, instead of guessing from where you last checked in. • It's fully opt-in. Turn "Share my location with responders" on in Settings, or during first-run setup. It's off until you choose it. • It only ever runs during a live alert. Sharing starts when an alert is active, stops when the alert ends, after one hour, or the instant you tap Stop — and nothing is shared at any other time. • iOS shows the location indicator the whole time it's on, and you can stop from the alert banner or Settings in one tap. Also in this release: • Clearer status when sharing is interrupted, so you're never told you're being seen when you're not. • Reliability and stability improvements across voice and alerts.

This update brings real-time Push-to-Talk to whoot, letting you transmit live voice to your rooms instantly — with full lock-screen and Dynamic Island support so you can stay connected without unlocking your phone. You can now send pre-recorded voice messages, and you'll never miss a moment thanks to redesigned in-app notification banners and reliable alerts for incoming transmissions. We've strengthened account security with biometric (Face ID / Touch ID) and passcode lock options, and refreshed the interface with new typography and a cleaner rooms experience. Under the hood, this release delivers significant performance and reliability improvements — including faster, more resilient reconnection and smoother, higher-quality audio — for a more dependable experience throughout.
