La fonge - Mycoquebec is a mycology app designed to help you explore Quebec fungi in the field, even without an internet connection. Browse species by taxonomy or practical groups, view detailed species pages, macro and micro photos, scientific descriptions, and an integrated mycological glossary. The app also includes: • identification guides based on criteria • advanced search tools • personal observations with notes, photos, and geolocation • observation saving and export • optional synchronization features when you sign in The app is built with an offline-first approach so it remains useful where network access is limited or unavailable. Important: The app menus and interface are bilingual in French and English. The scientific reference information is currently available in French only. A beta English translation is available for part of the scientific content, but the French version remains the official reference. Subscription: An auto-renewable annual subscription unlocks full access to advanced features. A free trial is available when you start using the app. Conditions d'utilisation / Terms of Use https://www.mycoquebec.org/terms.php

This update introduces Personal Lists: create your own species lists, organize them however you like, and share them easily with a code (MQL-XXXXX-XXXX) or a QR code. You can also import a friend's list or browse a shared list directly from the website. A standout new feature: you can now start a quiz from any personal list, including ones shared with you, to test your knowledge on a specific group of species. On the fixes side, we improved photo display when the connection is slow or unavailable: photos already cached now show instantly instead of needlessly waiting on the network. Sharing links via Messenger and Facebook now works correctly with a full preview. Finally, the observation form was reordered for a more natural flow, the order of description sections (remarks, ecology, edibility, etc.) can now be customized by drag-and-drop, and iNaturalist sync robustness was improved. For now iNaturalist exportation appears in the iNat app but are buggy on the website due to a bug that should be corrected soon on by the iNaturalist website team.
