Watch Identifier:WatchRadar AI
Scanner, Value, Collection Box
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Photograph a watch from guided angles: its likely brand and model, an estimated value range, and what the photos can and can't show. Your first analysis is free.
Identify a watch from photos and understand the evidence behind the result.
WatchRadar is an AI watch identifier, value companion, and private collection box for collectors, buyers, dealers, and enthusiasts. Photograph a timepiece and receive a likely brand and model, a reference candidate when one can be read, a confidence level, and visual findings in one clear dossier.
CHECK A LISTING BEFORE YOU BUY
Buying online? Add up to five photos from a seller's listing or chat. WatchRadar identifies the watch, estimates its value, and lists the close-ups to ask the seller for when the photos can't settle the details.
IDENTIFY A WATCH
Follow guided photos of the dial, crown, side profile, case back, and clasp. WatchRadar recognizes visible details and explains which signals support the suggested identity.
COMPARE ESTIMATED VALUE
See an estimated secondary-market range beside the asking price you enter. Use it as practical context before a purchase, not as a professional appraisal.
UNDERSTAND THE RESULT
Review dial text, model cues, confidence, uncertainty reasons, and an annotated map of the regions inspected. Results are a likelihood based on your photos (Likely Authentic, Uncertain, or High Risk), not a guarantee. When the evidence is not strong enough, WatchRadar says so instead of guessing and suggests which shots to retake.
BUILD YOUR COLLECTION BOX
Track watches, provenance documents, service history, value context, photos, and Analysis Reports in a private archive.
SHARE AN ANALYSIS REPORT
Create an Analysis Report with a unique ID, QR code, and downloadable PDF for your records or to share with a buyer or seller. It summarizes what the photos showed at the time of the analysis.
DESIGNED FOR REAL-WORLD SCANNING
Start an analysis once you have three useful angles, or continue to all five for stronger evidence. Many authenticity reads need the case back and clasp. Framing guidance, torch controls, and capture feedback help you get a clearer result. An analysis usually takes 35 to 45 seconds.
WATCHRADAR PRO
Unlock up to 40 scans a week, deeper analysis, full history, and complete collection tools. Your first full analysis is free.
IMPORTANT
WatchRadar provides AI-based identification suggestions, estimated value context, and risk signals from submitted photos. Results may be incomplete or incorrect. WatchRadar does not authenticate a watch, replace an inspection by a qualified professional, provide a professional appraisal, or issue a legal certificate of authenticity.

more Clearer when a connection fails. If a Wi-Fi network or a VPN blocks WatchRadar's secure connection, the scanner and Watch Box now say so instead of showing a plain failure, and your photos stay on your iPhone.
Photos that couldn't be sent now go up on their own when you switch networks, for example from Wi-Fi to mobile data. A Watch Box that didn't load tries again as soon as you're back online.
3.26 3h ago
Made for iPhone Duo. Open it and WatchRadar fills the big screen: the viewfinder beside its controls, a verdict beside its evidence. History and Watch Box keep the list open next to the verdict or watch you choose.
Fold it partway, like a book, and each half becomes its own page, with nothing in the crease. Close it and carry on from the same screen on the outer display.
On any iPhone, turn it sideways and the live viewfinder now turns with it.
3.25 2d ago
A new look, from dial to clasp. WatchRadar is redesigned like a precision instrument: a night-dark dial, glowing lume accents and clear readouts.
Watch the inspection happen. A radar sweep passes over each photo and marks the details it picks up, then your verdict charges in on a ring of 60 ticks.
Smoother motion, a refreshed light mode, and fixes throughout.

New: check a listing's photos. Buying online? Add up to five photos from a seller's listing or chat. WatchRadar identifies the watch, estimates its value, and tells you which close-ups to ask the seller for.
Clearer results: when photos can't settle authenticity, you now see what was identified first, and exactly which shots to retake.
Fixes and polish throughout.

Small under-the-hood improvements to keep WatchRadar running smoothly.
3.22 Oct 12
More reliable scans and a faster start.
• A scan in progress is no longer lost if you switch tabs, lose your connection or leave the app.
• WatchRadar opens faster.
• When photos are too dark or blurry to assess, the result shows which shots to retake, and that retake is free.
• The shareable report is now called the Analysis Report.
• A refreshed onboarding.
3.21 Oct 7
A clearer start and more honest results.
• Start your free first analysis from any tab. The camera is only requested when you begin an inspection.
• Your last verdict stays on your phone, and you can be notified when a verdict finishes while you're away.
• When the photos raise concerns we can't confirm, the result now says so and offers a one-tap retake of the shots that matter.
• A misspelled brand name on the dial is now flagged, and likely reference numbers are shown, clearly marked as unconfirmed.
• Certificates use a hedged scale: Likely Authentic, Uncertain or High Risk.
• Fixes across onboarding, the paywall and subscription restore.
3.20 Sep 29
Faster uploads, and a countdown that knows when to stop.
• Your upload no longer waits on the on-device text read. It now keeps a strict time limit and sends whatever has been found by then.
• An error a retry cannot fix is reported straight away, instead of after a silent pause.
• Retrying a failed analysis now times itself, so the wait we record is the one you actually had.
• The Pro offer countdown ends as soon as your subscription is active.
We also refreshed our App Store gallery, including a new set of screenshots made for iPad.
3.19 Sep 14
Spend less time waiting for your watch result, with better use of every angle you capture.
Improved
• Complete scans now keep the dial, crown, side profile, case back and clasp in the analysis, with a close-up when available.
• Analysis starts sooner after your photos are ready. Your result can appear while its photo is still loading.
• Repeated blur, glare and framing warnings offer clearer advice for your next shot.
Fixed
• More reliable subscription checks when starting an analysis.
When a photo cannot support an authenticity assessment, WatchRadar still explains the limits of the evidence.
3.18 Sep 11
A small maintenance release with behind-the-scenes improvements. Nothing changes in how you scan, value, or store your watches.
3.17 Sep 2
WatchRadar 3.16 makes the wait short and the verdict clearer about itself.
A VERDICT IN ABOUT HALF A MINUTE
The analysis pipeline was rebuilt around what actually produces your result. A full scan now completes in roughly 30–45 seconds.
A MUCH DEEPER REFERENCE CATALOG
Nearly three times more references — from the full modern G-Shock line to deep Rolex, Omega, Cartier and Tudor coverage — so identifications resolve to the right reference more often, and an unconfirmed reference is now labelled as such instead of stated as fact.
THE SHOT THAT MATTERS MOST
Finishing a scan without the case back — where reference and serial engravings live — now shows a clear heads-up first, so you know what you're trading away.
SMALL PRINT THAT EARNS ITS NAME
The result page now states exactly which checks produced your verdict.
With reliability improvements and minor fixes.
3.16 Sep 2
WatchRadar 3.15 makes every scan faster to finish and more honest about what it saw.
A SCAN THAT KEEPS UP
Photos begin uploading the moment you take them, and a scan you background is recovered when you return — with a notification when your verdict is ready.
RESULTS IN YOUR LANGUAGE
Findings now point to “your 1st photo” instead of internal frame numbers, close-up crops are taken only when the photo genuinely supports them, and progress counts the photos you actually took.
AN HONEST START
Setup now asks how you check watches today and tells you plainly what a verdict is — and what it isn't — before you ever see a price.
PRO THAT STAYS UNLOCKED
Pro access now restores reliably after updates and reinstalls.
With reliability improvements and minor fixes.
3.15 Sep 1
WatchRadar 3.12 sharpens what the camera actually captures, and makes the pricing on every plan easier to compare at a glance.
CLOSE-UPS THAT SURVIVE THE UPLOAD
Capture now runs through the full photo pipeline with an automatic macro crop, so fine engraving, dial text and clasp stamps reach the analysis with their detail intact instead of being softened on the way.
FEWER SCANS TURNED AWAY
The evidence check no longer mistakes a busy background for a blurry watch. Far more scans now reach a verdict instead of asking you to shoot again.
PRICING YOU CAN COMPARE WITHOUT DOING THE MATH
The yearly plan now shows its per-week equivalent beside the weekly plan, so the two sit in the same unit. The amount you are actually billed stays the headline figure on every card.
A SHORTER PATH THROUGH SETUP
The questions at the start are broken up rather than stacked back to back, you can tell us your name if you want the plan to read like yours, and a short checklist on the Scan tab shows what is worth doing first.
With reliability improvements and minor fixes.
3.12 Aug 29
WatchRadar 3.11 fixes the "hold steady, the image is soft" complaint and makes every scan faster and clearer.
THE SHARPNESS CHECK NOW MEASURES SHARPNESS
The old check reacted to how busy or bright a scene was, not how focused it was, so a dark watch on a dark desk was called soft in perfect focus. It has been rebuilt. When a photo genuinely cannot be judged, WatchRadar says so instead of asking you to hold steadier.
FASTER, MORE DEPENDABLE ANALYSIS
Scans no longer spend most of their time waiting on an answer that never arrives, and your photos now upload in parallel.
YOU CAN SEE WHAT IS BEING INSPECTED
The wait now moves through every photograph your scan took, full frames and close-up crops, held sharp and in capture order, instead of a single blurred still.
CLEARER CERTIFICATES AND LIGHT MODE
A certificate no longer shows a green badge beside an uncertain verdict, and the retake hint under the viewfinder is readable in light mode.
With reliability improvements and minor fixes.
3.11 Aug 26
WatchRadar 3.9 improves the timing of App Store rating requests. They are now limited to successful identifications and other positive moments, never failed or insufficient scans, dismissed paywalls, or cancelled purchases. This update also includes reliability improvements and minor fixes.
3.9 Aug 20
WatchRadar 3.8 — Finish your scan sooner.
• Analyze early: from the third angle, a new "Analyze with 3 angles" button runs the dossier without waiting for all five shots. More angles still means stronger evidence.
• No more dead-end captures: if detection struggles but you already have three good angles, the analysis stays one tap away.
• Restore Purchases now tells you what happened — restored, nothing to restore, or a clear error.
• More honest verdicts: whenever a full analysis isn't possible, the result is always labeled Uncertain instead of guessing.

WatchRadar 3.7 — A bold new look, and fewer refused scans.
• New icon and a completely rebuilt interface: high-contrast, confident, legible at a glance in daylight.
• Every screen restyled — scanner, dossier, Watch Box and Archive now share one bold visual language.
• Scanner reliability: many watches the camera used to refuse are now recognised and analysed.
• Tight wrist close-ups no longer fail the capture gate — it falls back instead of blocking you.
• Onboarding now shows a live sample scan up front — see a full dossier before we ask about your budget or your collection.
• Findings stay pinned on your own photos — dial, bezel, crown, case — with honest caveats when an identity can't be confirmed.
• Market value is still an estimate compared against the asking price, never a live appraisal.
• Light and Dark both retuned for the new palette.

WatchRadar 3.6 — See exactly what the AI saw.
• Visual inspection map: every finding is pinned on your actual photos — dial, bezel, crown, case — with per-region verdicts.
• Your first scan is free: every new collector gets one complete analysis, no subscription required.
• New: 7-day free trial on WatchRadar Pro annual.
• Share cards: post your verdict — watch photo, checks passed, authenticity call — in one tap.
• No watch at hand? Run a sample scan and explore a full dossier.
• Stronger second-pass verification, with honest caveats when an identity can't be confirmed.
• More reliable photo upload with automatic retries, plus deeper security hardening.
