Timers keep running when the screen turns off. During the breath-hold baseline test and training sessions, lowering your wrist no longer stops the clock, so your baseline and hold times are recorded accurately. Always On Display shows a dimmed timer during holds and rests. Heart-rate tracking continues while the screen is dark. The "Screen Always On" switch was removed: Apple Watch controls that in Settings > Display & Brightness. App Review note to paste with the submission: "Background Modes now declares mindfulness and workout-processing. Guided breathing and breath-hold timers must keep running while the wrist is lowered; the workout session is the existing HealthKit heart-rate stream during training."
