Log food in seconds. Type what you ate or scan the box. Free for 7 days, then $3.99/month to keep going.
Most calorie trackers feel like spreadsheets. Endless databases, portion pickers, friction at every step. Nosh just asks what you ate.
Type it the way you'd say it out loud. "Big bowl of ramen and a Diet Coke." "Grabbed a burrito on the way home." Nosh estimates the calories and macros, then tells you what you've got left for the day. Under five seconds, start to finish.
Not sure about an estimate? Nudge the number with a tap. Your correction is saved, and Nosh moves on. No guilt, no friction.
WHO IT'S FOR
Nosh is for people who want calorie and macro awareness without the spreadsheet. If you've tried tracking apps before and given up because they were too slow, too cluttered, or too clinical, Nosh is built for you.
It's for the person who eats real food at real meals and just wants a fast, honest way to stay on track. No nutrition degree required.
HOW IT WORKS
Type what you ate. Nosh estimates the calories and macros. You see what's left for the day. Tap Done. That's the whole loop. Most entries take under five seconds, which means you'll actually do it every meal instead of giving up by Wednesday. Got a packaged food in front of you? Tap the scan button for exact nutrition straight from the label.
WHAT NOSH DOES
• Food logging in plain language, with optional barcode scanning for packaged foods
• Calorie and macro estimates (protein, carbs, fat) with plain-language explanations, tap to see the reasoning behind any result
• Daily calorie goal with remaining calories shown up front
• Swipe to delete, tap to adjust any estimate
• Manual entry when you want full control
• Save frequent meals as favorites and log them again in one tap
THE DIFFERENCE
Most calorie and macro trackers are built around databases. You search, scroll, and pick. It works, but it's slow enough that most people quit. Nosh flips the model. You describe your meal the way you'd text a friend, and Nosh handles the rest.
It's not a perfect food diary. It's a fast one. And fast is what makes it stick.
Free for 7 days. $3.99/month or $39.99/year after. Cancel anytime.

I am such a fan of Nosh! It makes tracking calories such a breeze. I’ve tried nearly every other calorie tracking app out there, and I usually quit after 2 weeks due to how irritating and tedious the experience is. However, Nosh’s platform is both pleasant to look at while being flexible and simple to use. While the app is still early in development, I have been double checking the calorie totals myself just to confirm. However, the calorie estimate has never been off by more than +/- 50 calories, and I fully expect that this feature will get more accurate with time. If you’re someone who is just trying to keep an eye on their calories and basic macros (without having it consume your life and thoughts), this app is great.Plus, the developer is super responsive to feedback :-)
Big update.
- New 7-day free trial. Try everything Nosh does for a week, then subscribe to keep going. Existing users now get unlimited free access as a thank-you for being early.
- Macro targets are now available during your trial. Tap the gray arcs in the macro view to set protein, carbs, and fat goals.
- Swipe between days with a new week strip at the top of the home screen.
- The home screen now scrolls so you can see your full day at a glance.
- Improvements to dark mode, layout polish, and small fixes throughout.
