WeaveLedger is expense tracking, receipt scanning and revenue reporting for freelancers, solo founders and small businesses who want their financial data on a server they control.
HOW IT WORKS
WeaveLedger connects to a WeaveLedger server. You have two options:
- Self-host for free. The backend is open source: visit github.com/WeaveHubHQ/weaveledger-oss and choose "Deploy to Cloudflare" to run your own instance on Cloudflare Workers. Setup takes about 5 minutes.
- Use WeaveLedger Hosted, a managed instance that is run for you. Hosted subscribers get Pro in the app included when they sign in.
The app does not work without a server.
SMART RECEIPT SCANNING
Snap a photo of a receipt, or choose one from your library, and AI extracts the merchant, date, amount, tax and line items. Use WeaveHub AI, or bring your own Anthropic or OpenAI key. If one provider is unavailable, WeaveLedger falls back to the next automatically.
EXPENSES
Every expense in one searchable list, automatically categorized. Filter by date, add notes, and build expense reports as PDFs with the receipt images attached.
REVENUE AND SUBSCRIPTIONS
Connect Stripe, the App Store and Google Play to see what customers paid, what the platforms kept and what you earned. Track payouts, and follow MRR and ARR for the subscriptions you sell.
BUDGETS, TAX AND P&L
Set budgets by category, keep an eye on estimated taxes through the year, and generate profit and loss reports for any period.
EMAIL RECEIPTS
Forward digital receipts to your server and they are processed automatically.
MULTIPLE BOOKS
Keep each business, client or project in its own book, and share a book with collaborators.
STATEMENTS AND EXPORT
Match bank statements against your receipts. Export to CSV or PDF in the app; JSON, QuickBooks (QBO) and OFX are also available from your server.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your App Store account settings.
PRIVACY AND DATA OWNERSHIP
When you self-host, your data lives in your own Cloudflare account, in your own database and storage. On WeaveLedger Hosted, each customer has an isolated database and storage. No ads and no data selling. The backend is fully open source.
