New: Community! Ask questions and share tips with Indians in Munich, and find Indian groceries, restaurants and sweet shops near you in the new Places directory.
Indians In Munich is the community app for Indians living in, moving to, or visiting Munich, Germany.
Whether you just landed in Munich or have been here for years, this app connects you with fellow Indians who understand your journey, all in one place instead of scattered WhatsApp groups.
WHAT YOU CAN DO:
Community (new)
Ask questions, share tips and experiences, post photos and run polls. Visa and Anmeldung, housing, jobs and referrals, family and kids, festivals, cricket: pick a topic and get answers from people who have been there. The best answer is marked, so the next person finds it quickly.
Places (new)
Find Indian groceries, restaurants, sweet shops, takeaways and caterers in and around Munich, with opening hours, member reviews and tips. Missing your favourite shop? Suggest it.
Housing and Flatshare
Searching for a WG or apartment in Munich can be tough. Browse rooms and flats shared by community members, or post your own to find the right flatmate or tenant.
Buy and Sell
Buy, sell or give away furniture, electronics and household items within the community, or post what you are looking for. Mark your listing Reserved, Sold or Found, so nobody asks about something that is gone.
Marketplace
Discover home businesses run by community members: homemade food and tiffin, clothing, beauty, tutoring and classes, handmade crafts and home services.
Events and Meetups
Stay updated on Diwali celebrations, Holi parties, cricket matches, cultural gatherings and casual meetups across Munich.
Travel Buddy
Flying between India and Germany? Find someone on the same flight to help your parents travelling alone, look for a travel companion, or ask someone to carry documents or items.
Comments and Notifications
Ask the poster a question in the comments, reply in threads and react to posts. Your notification inbox tells you about new comments and replies, and you decide what you hear about.
AI Munich Guide
Questions about Anmeldung, visa extensions, health insurance or public transport? The built-in AI guide answers questions about life in Munich and Germany, and points you to matching listings, events, places and Community answers in the app.
SAFE AND TRUSTED:
Clear community rules, and a report and block option on every post and comment
Admins review reports and keep the community friendly
Photos are stripped of location data before they are uploaded
Your contact details are shared only where you choose
