Sesame - Access Codes
Access codes, always at hand.
$1.99 · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
The right code, at the right door, at the right moment — automatically. Encrypted on your device, readable only by you.
Every door has a code. Sesame makes sure you always have it.
Whether it's your building entrance, parking garage, storage unit, holiday rental, or office — Sesame stores your access codes and delivers them automatically the moment you arrive. No more unlocking your phone, searching your notes, or asking someone to resend the code. It's just there, on your lock screen, when you need it.
How it works
Add any address with its access code and optional notes. Sesame monitors your location in the background and sends you a notification as you approach — even when the app is closed. Sort your list by distance to always see the nearest codes first. Search instantly by name or address.
Private and encrypted
Every code, location detail, and note is encrypted on your device using AES-256 before it ever reaches iCloud. Your data lives in your private iCloud account — unreadable by anyone, including Apple.
Share with confidence
Generate a QR code or share via AirDrop to send an entry to a colleague, flatmate, or guest. Choose exactly what to include — detection radius, location details, comment — and keep what's private, private.
Built for real life
— Unlimited entries, intelligently managed within iOS location limits
— Silence individual entries for codes you know by heart
— Syncs privately across all your devices via iCloud
— Available on iPhone and Mac
One-time purchase. Open source. No subscription.
Sesame costs a small one-time fee. You pay once, we build a good app. Your data is never our product. The source code is open for anyone to inspect at github.com/GregoireLD/Sesame
Sesame is the work of a single independent developer. If it makes your daily life a little easier, a tip is always welcome at ko-fi.com/duvalparis
Sesame is provided as a convenience tool. Arrival notifications depend on location permissions, network conditions, and device settings — always keep an alternative way to access your codes. Intended for personal use with codes you are legitimately entitled to use. To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the purchase price.
