CamViewer now speaks Portuguese and Japanese. Pick your language under Settings, or leave it on System and the app follows your phone. Also fixed: if the price failed to load, the Pro button stayed greyed out with a spinner that never stopped, and restarting the app was the only way out. The button now works, and if the price still will not load you get a plain message and a retry button.

Adding a camera is more accurate. The network scan now actually asks the camera for a stream and picks the path that works, instead of simply the first one. The test button tells you what is wrong: the camera rejects the username or password, or there is no stream at this path. If the scan finds no working path, you can enter it yourself.

Hide buttons automatically: handy when an iPad hangs on the wall as a camera display. In Settings you choose after how long the blue buttons fade out. Tap or swipe anywhere and they come back; that tap does not open a camera. Off by default, so nothing changes unless you turn it on.

Two-way talk: cameras with a speaker can now be spoken to from the fullscreen view. Hold the talk button, or tap it to keep it on. A bar shows how loudly your voice is coming through. Works with UniFi Protect and with cameras that have an RTSP backchannel, such as Reolink via go2rtc. HD or SD per camera: every camera now has a button to switch between the sharp and the light stream, both in the grid and in fullscreen. The light stream saves a lot of data. The choice is remembered. Recording fixed: recordings sometimes ended up black or without a preview in the camera roll. That is solved.

Contact from within the app: the About screen now has a button that opens an email to support, with your app version, device and language already filled in. Camera names and credentials are never included.

Sync with go2rtc: the app now shows which cameras were added to or removed from your server and lets you choose what to apply. Nothing changes without you seeing it.

CamViewer now speaks French. The app and its App Store listing are fully translated.

Fixes a crash when taking a snapshot or saving a recording to your photo library.

A better fit on iPad. The grid now follows the shape of your camera image instead of squeezing it into narrow strips. Camera names no longer get cut off. Fixes for passwords with special characters, camera export, iCloud sync and server addresses typed without http://.
