Every AI usage limit in your pocket. Claude, Copilot, Cursor, OpenAI and 9 more — usage rings, reset countdowns, and credit balances on iPhone and Watch.
TokenBar shows how much AI usage you have left — before you run out mid-task. A clean usage ring, every rate-limit window with its reset countdown, and your credit balances, all in one place.
TRACK 13 AI PROVIDERS
Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, OpenAI (Admin API), OpenRouter, DeepSeek, Moonshot, Z.ai, Kimi, MiniMax, ElevenLabs, Synthetic, and Warp. Enable the ones you use and switch between them right on the main screen.
EVERYTHING THAT MATTERS, AT A GLANCE
• Live usage ring and per-window progress bars — session, weekly, monthly
• Countdown to each window's reset, so you can plan long tasks
• Credit balances with granted vs. topped-up breakdowns
• Plan name, connected account, and how fresh the data is
ON YOUR LOCK SCREEN, HOME SCREEN, AND WRIST
• Live Activity keeps your usage on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island
• Home Screen widget for a permanent glance
• Apple Watch companion app shows your primary provider from your wrist
SIMPLE, SECURE SETUP
• Set up once on your Mac and your providers appear on iPhone automatically via iCloud — or configure everything on iPhone directly
• Sign in to Claude with the built-in browser
• Connect GitHub Copilot with a one-time code
• Paste an API key or cookie for other providers and test the connection instantly
• Credentials are stored in the Keychain and used only to talk to each provider directly — no middleman servers
STAY AHEAD OF LIMITS
Background refresh keeps your primary provider current, and a notification warns you when remaining usage drops below your threshold.
Requires accounts or API keys with the providers you want to track. TokenBar is an independent app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any AI provider.
This app is 99% of the way there, but with one dealbreaker. It tracks token window time and usage, but it does not refresh automatically even if I set it to. So ultimately it tells me everything I need to know, but it’s wrong almost all the time. Once I manually open the app it refreshes itself.
Developer Response
Hi, and thank you so much for the thoughtful review — "99% of the way there" with a clear description of the problem is exactly the kind of feedback that lets me fix the right thing. You're absolutely right: usage was only refreshing reliably when the app was open, so the data you saw in between could be out of date. I've shipped an update (1.0.4) that addresses this: - More frequent background refreshes. The app now uses an additional background processing task on top of the standard refresh, and queues work as soon as it launches — so iOS has more opportunities to update your usage while the app is closed. - Honest, always-current freshness. The Live Activity now shows an auto-updating "Updated X ago" timestamp and visibly marks data as stale once it's past your refresh interval, so the numbers are never presented as current when they aren't. - Clearer expectations in Settings about how background refresh works. One honest note: iOS strictly limits how often apps can fetch data in the background, so background updates are best-effort and can't always match the in-app interval — keeping the app open or running a Live Activity will always give you the freshest reading. I've tuned everything to get as close as the platform allows. Thank you again for taking the time — it genuinely made the app better. If anything still feels off after the update, I'd love to hear it.
TokenBar 2.0 brings every AI usage limit to your pocket — not just Claude.
TRACK 13 AI PROVIDERS
GitHub Copilot, Cursor, OpenAI (Admin API), OpenRouter, DeepSeek, Moonshot, Z.ai, Kimi, MiniMax, ElevenLabs, Synthetic, and Warp join Claude. Enable the ones you use and switch between them from the main screen.
RICHER USAGE DETAILS
• Every rate-limit window with usage bars and reset countdowns
• Credit balances, plan name, and connected account
• A new Details section showing exactly where your numbers come from and when they were updated
EASIER SETUP
• Connect GitHub Copilot with a one-time code — no key to copy
• Paste an API key or cookie for other providers and test the connection instantly
• Set up once on your Mac and your providers appear on iPhone automatically via iCloud
Background refresh, the Lock Screen Live Activity, and the home screen widget now follow your primary provider, so your most important limit is always current.
Two suggestions while you're in App Store Connect:
1. Keywords field — worth refreshing too, e.g.: ai,usage, claude, copilot, cursor, openai, token, limit, quota, rate limit, menu bar, tracker (macOS) — happy to tune per platform.
2. Subtitle (30 chars) — if you currently have a Claude-specific one, something like AI usage limits, tracked (24 chars) now fits the broader story.
