Learn multiplication with all your senses The idea behind this app is inspired by the learning materials of the Italian educator Maria Montessori. Maria Montessori recognized that children learn best independently when they are given the right tools. This second version of the app has been significantly expanded: You can now practice the full multiplication table up to 20 × 20. In addition, you can choose whether tasks are presented randomly or whether selected tasks appear more frequently (factor 3). The type of exercises can also be adjusted, with 12 different variants available. The app keeps track of: • the total number of tasks • correctly solved tasks • incorrectly solved tasks

My student was struggling with times tables and I tried several apps before landing on 1x1 Coach Voice - and the difference is night and day. The voice interaction is the key: they hear the problem spoken aloud, answer out loud, and the app listens. It’s multi-sensory learning in the best possible way, and you can tell it’s grounded in real educational thinking (the Montessori inspiration really shows).What I love most is the flexibility. The ability to practice all the way up to 20×20 is fantastic for older kids who want a real challenge, and the option to weight harder problems so they appear more frequently is genuinely clever. My student stopped dreading math practice because it feels more like a conversation than a quiz.Privacy-forward (zero data collected), completely free, and the developer clearly cares — they pushed a bug fix within a day of launch. One of the most thoughtful educational apps I’ve come across. Highly recommend to any parent or teacher.

Bug fixes: 1. Listening sometimes started too early, already during the spoken task. 2. In some cases, tasks such as “35 = 7 × 5” were spoken as “7 × 5 = 35”. 3. Available languages: German, Danish, English, Finnish, French, Italian, Dutch, Norwegian, Swedish, Spanish
