Swiss Fund - Daily Budget App
Know What You Can Spend Today
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Swiss Fund answers one question: how much can I spend today?
Instead of a monthly budget you check twice and abandon, Swiss Fund divides what's left of your budget by the days left in the month and gives you one daily number, frozen at midnight. Spend less and tomorrow's number grows. Overspend and it shrinks. No guilt — just math.
BUILT FOR REAL LIFE
- Log an expense in two seconds — from the Home Screen widget, the Lock Screen, Control Center, Siri or the Action Button
- One line under the number tells you why it moved, and what tomorrow starts with
- A daily fund that resets at midnight, so every morning is a clean start
- Recurring income and expenses handled automatically
- Apple Watch app and complications
SAVE IN ANY CURRENCY
- The Swiss Vault: put money aside, hit milestones, watch it grow
- Earn in one currency, save in another — your vault keeps its own currency, converted once at deposit and never re-converted behind your back
- Full multi-currency support for income and expenses
SEE THE WHOLE PICTURE
- Net worth tracking: cash, stocks, and crypto in one graph
- Drag to scrub through your history; tap an asset to focus its trend

- Your data stays on your device, with a free backup in your own iCloud.

Runway: how long your money lasts.
One line on the Daily card: "Lasts until 19 Dec". Tap it for the full picture — days left at your real spending, what to spend per day to reach a date you pick, and which accounts count. Choose per asset: cash in, volatile crypto out, or the other way round.
Your savings goal gets a date. Set when you want to reach it and the Vault shows what to save per day, whether you're on track, and milestones as dots along the way.
Nudges keep you honest. A weekly summary of under- and over-budget days, and an optional same-day ping when you go over. Both end with how your runway moved.
Also in this update:
• Portfolio chart no longer stretches a few days across a month, and the change now adds up
• Zero-value snapshots taken before prices loaded are gone from your history

Wallets: pay from another account at the rate you actually got.
Keep money in PicPay, Revolut or any account in another currency? Add a wallet on the Expenses tab, log what you sent and what arrived, and choose it under "Paid from" when you pay. Your daily budget stays the same, and what you spend counts at your rate, not today's. Found cash or got a gift? Add it as extra money.
Also in this update:
• Currency menus show the currencies you use first
• Withdrawing savings from the Vault no longer inflates your daily budget
1.8.0 Oct 18
• Text across the app now follows your iPhone's text size setting.
• Portfolio now shows where prices come from (Yahoo Finance and CoinGecko) and that they may be delayed.
• Small fixes and polish.
1.7.3 Oct 10
• Widgets & Apple Watch: your Pro status stays in sync everywhere. Purchases, restores and refunds show up right away, with no false "locked" flash.
• Colours that mean something: the number stays calm until you go over budget. An amber dot when you're nearly spent, red only when you're over.
• Backups: restore an older copy, see when backups are paused, and choose "Use this iPhone's data".
• Onboarding: add savings you already have, without touching this month's budget.
• Siri now answers in every language and never books an expense to your Vault by mistake.
• Close Month is more reliable, and the morning notification matches the app.
• Net worth keeps your last good prices when a market source is down.
• Better VoiceOver, better Reduce Motion support, and lots of fixes under the hood.
1.7.2 Sep 29
Small bug fix where multi-currency was displayed in the native currency. Users can now use the application in different currencies, recent expenses will take the exchange rate of that moment and convert it.
1.7.1 Sep 16
Log an expense in two seconds. The sheet opens with the keyboard up, your last category preselected, and Add right on the keyboard. A new Lock Screen “+” widget drops you straight in. Siri now needs one question, not two: “add 12 to groceries”.
Your daily fund says why. One line under the number explains what moved it off the plan — earlier days, or a bill that took more than its share — and in the evening, how the day is closing and what tomorrow starts with.
iCloud backup, free, on by default. A copy of everything in your own iCloud, rewritten after every change. New phone or reinstall? Restore from the welcome screen.
The opening ensō now draws itself once a day, not on every launch.
Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets are part of Swiss Fund Pro from this version. If you installed before 1.7, they stay free for you — thank you for being early. New users get 14 days to try them.
1.7.0 Sep 5
Your daily fund now shows its work.
Tap Breakdown on the daily card to see exactly how today's number is built: what's left for daily spending, divided by the days remaining, minus what you've spent today. Below it, every day of the period so far against your plan — so you can see which days you came in under, and what that adds to each day ahead. And what tomorrow looks like, whether you stop spending now or use all of today's fund.
Also in this update:
Swiss Fund speaks German, French, Italian and Dutch, and writes amounts the way your region does
The widget rolls over to the new day on its own at midnight
Stocks listed in London, Zurich or Amsterdam are priced in their own currency and converted properly
The Sunday summary can be switched off in Settings
Fixes to spending history, backups, VoiceOver and Dynamic Type
1.6.3 Sep 2
Minor bug where the morning notification was using data from the day before, this is now resolved, so the morning notification sends you accurate data. Thanks for using Swiss Fund!

1.6.0 Aug 25
The ink & paper update.
• A new light mode — warm paper, sumi ink, and a calmer way to look at your money. Dark mode keeps its deep forest green.
• A new app icon — the ensō: one brushed circle, left open like the day ahead.
• Vault fix: withdrawing savings from earlier months now returns the money to your budget as visible income. Nothing quietly disappears from your net worth anymore.
• Swiss Fund Pro dropped to a smaller one-time price, worldwide. Same rule as always: pay once, yours forever — no subscription.
改善 · one day, one step.
1.5.0 Aug 22
The nomad update.
- Multi-currency Vault — earn in one currency, save in another. Your vault now has its own currency: deposits convert once and freeze, so exchange rates never quietly rewrite your savings. Switching currency asks whether to relabel or convert — your money, your call.
- One-tap logging — add an expense straight from the Home Screen widget, Control Center, the Lock Screen, or the Action Button. Six taps became one.
- A living net worth graph — drag to scrub through your history, tap a breakdown row to focus one asset, and watch ranges morph instead of snap.
- Polish everywhere — numbers roll when they change, empty screens finally say something helpful, and a day-one progress bar bug is fixed.
- Swiss Fund Pro — one-time lifetime unlock for unlimited history, recurring items, categories, live net worth prices, and data export. The daily fund stays free, forever.

What's New in This Version
Send income straight to your Vault. Money you've already decided to save shouldn't tempt you. Flip the new toggle when adding (or editing) an income and it lands directly in your Vault — kept out of your daily fund entirely. Edit or delete that income later and your Vault follows along automatically.
Savings now look like winning. Categories for saving no longer show "over limit" in red when you save more than planned. Going past your target is the goal — now it shows as "AHEAD" in green.
Touch your net worth. The trend graph is now fully interactive: press and drag to see your net worth on any day, tap Crypto, Stocks, or Cash to see how each one moved on its own, and watch your line draw itself when you open the tab.
Sharper numbers.
Currency warnings when a transaction can't convert to your base currency — no more silent mis-totals
Exchange rates are only marked "fresh" when they actually are
The paywall now shows your real local price
Fixes to the daily fund around midnight, month changes, and daylight saving time
Plus a stack of smaller fixes to keep your Vault balance and history exactly right.
1.2.1 Jul 9
Saving money should feel like a win — not look like you overspent. This update makes that right.
SMARTER SAVINGS
• Your Swiss Vault now celebrates going past your goal. Beat your target and you'll see how far you're ahead — in green, where it belongs — instead of a red "over limit" warning.
• New: send income straight to your Vault. Money you're setting aside — a freelance payment, a bonus — no longer inflates your daily spending number. Split it across your budget, or commit it straight to savings. Your call.
NET WORTH
• Your trend graph now shows up within a day of getting started, with your live total right on the chart.
REFINEMENTS
• The paywall now shows pricing in your local currency.
• More accurate exchange rates across Net Worth and multi-currency budgets, with a clear heads-up when a live rate isn't available.
• Your daily fund stays rock-steady once it's frozen at midnight — including a fix for daylight-saving days.
• Reliability and safety improvements under the hood.
Thanks for using Swiss Fund. Built solo, and I read every review — keep the feedback coming.

Multi-currency support is here.
Swiss Fund now understands every currency you hold. Log income and expenses in their native currency — EUR, USD, BRL, or any of 180+ ISO codes. Your daily fund sums everything in your base currency using live rates from the European Central Bank.
Rates refresh once per day and freeze — same midnight-rule as your daily fund, so your number doesn't jitter as the market moves. Tap the hero card to see a full breakdown: income and expenses by currency, rates used, last updated.
When the month closes, the rates are archived too — your historical reports stay accurate forever, even if the market shifts.
No account, no subscription, no data collection. Ever.
