• Captions: lines now break at natural pauses, split evenly, and stay within two lines. In the editor, you can move and resize the caption area and choose Text alignment. Caption timing is more accurate. • Pro: Settings shows your Plan and your Next Plan. Monthly subscribers can switch to Yearly in the app. See Pro Plans in Settings no longer closes by itself. • Improvements: a new "Rotate text when sideways" switch for the floating window. If you never chose a resolution, recording uses 1080p when both cameras support it. With High accuracy, Hindi scripts now scroll.

• My Scripts: swipe actions on a row are gone. Pin, rename and delete are on the row's buttons. • Unsaved videos: Settings shows what the count is counting. In some languages the time under a video no longer starts with a minus sign. • Improvements: at the largest text sizes, the landscape home screen and the How to Use card now fit the screen.

• Unsaved videos: closing the completion screen no longer deletes your recording. It stays under its script on the home screen. Tap it to edit, save, or delete it. Choose how long and how many to keep in Settings. • Remote & Buttons: control the reading screen with a Bluetooth remote, foot pedal, or keyboard. You can start and pause, and step back or forward. Choose what each button does in Settings › Remote & Buttons. • My Scripts: search by title or text, and see how many videos each script has. • Paste: when you have copied text, an empty script shows a Paste button. • Improvements: voice following stays closer to you and counts your last words when you tap Stop. The home editor no longer breaks Korean words across lines. The home screen and the reading settings now fit at the largest text sizes.

• Fixes: on iOS 17 and iPadOS 17, the app no longer freezes when you finish reading and the completion screen opens. Turning Center Stage off now returns the front camera to the zoom you chose. • Center Stage: when you record in the app with the front camera and Center Stage is on, a Center Stage label appears where the zoom control is. Tap it to turn Center Stage off.

• Cursor style: in the reading screen's settings, choose how the word you're reading is marked: Line or Orange word. • Fixes: a deep reading box no longer lets a Script Directions caption cover the next line; dragging the reading box handles no longer saves a value you didn't choose; Send Feedback is no longer cut off on the landscape completion screen; and mode descriptions are no longer truncated in some languages. Translations were also polished in several languages.

• Zoom while recording: turn on Zoom controls in the Camera settings to show − and + above the controls, and zoom in steps within the chosen lens, even while recording. The front camera zooms too, up to 3×; it stays at 1× while Center Stage is on. • Countdown: when recording in this app, the start bar stays up during 3-2-1 and ▶ turns into ×, so you can cancel the start. • Fixes: Script Directions now show their emoji and punctuation exactly as written, and the auto-scroll speed preview no longer drops the full stop before a direction.

• Online recognition: if your device has no Dictation for a language, turn on Online recognition on the Fast response languages page and Apple's servers will recognize your speech. It's off by default, and languages already on your device are still recognized on the device. If the internet drops, reading and in-app recording pause, and they pick up again on their own once your words are recognized again. • Recording: if recording fails partway, for example when storage is full, VoiceScroll now pauses and asks whether to End or Keep reading. Recording doesn't restart after that. • Fixes: fixed a crash when returning to the app just as the floating window was closing. Button captions on the reading screen no longer overlap in some languages, and the speed buttons stay visible at the lowest and highest speeds.

• Floating window: when it's over the Home Screen or the Camera app and you turn your iPhone sideways, the script now turns with it and stays upright. • Scripts pasted from Windows and similar sources no longer run their lines together. A line that starts with a number, like "1. Title", no longer leaves the number on a line by itself. • WPM on the completion screen now uses only the words you actually read, so it's no longer too high after you resume reading. • Fixes: leaving the camera screen no longer freezes the app for several seconds or leaves the camera light on, and starting a new take right after stopping no longer turns the camera off or puts the previous take's video in the new one.

• On iPad, script text can now go up to 160pt when the window is large enough. Narrow windows and the floating window stay at 80pt, and the size you picked is kept for when the window grows again. • Center Stage: on devices that support it, you can now turn it on or off right in the app. It's the same switch as in Control Center. • On iPhones with the Center Stage front camera, front-camera videos now capture the same wide view as the Camera app. • The floating window now shows the line you're reading at the top, with a little space above it. • Frame rates your camera setup can't record are now grayed out in mode settings. • Fixes: smoother response when a reading ends. If the completion screen doesn't appear after you stop, you return to the Start bar instead of being left without controls.

• The floating window no longer cuts off other apps. Keep music, a call or a live stream playing while your script floats on top. • Subtitles line up more accurately on videos recorded in the app. • Text alignment can now be set correctly when your device language reads right to left, such as Arabic or Hebrew. • Scroll Mode lists the recognition option that suits your language and device first. • Fixes: improved stability when a camera recording ends.

• Voice mode is now Scroll mode, with a new third choice: Auto-scroll moves the script at the speed you set, with no speech recognition. • Settings while you read. The gear on the reading screen opens your mode's settings, also mid-session. It replaces Camera Settings and the three mode settings pages; each Prompter mode card now has one Settings link. New options: Line height, Letter spacing, Text alignment, Camera preview size, Room brightness and Window shape. Mirror horizontally and Mirror vertically are no longer on the bar; for Just read the script they are under Layout behind the gear, and in the Prompter mode settings. • Reading box. While the gear is open, drag the two orange corners: the top left moves the reading line and slides the script sideways, the bottom right sets width and height. The word you are on now fills in gradually. • Script directions. Text in square brackets, like [smile], now counts as a direction: voice tracking skips it and shows it as a caption under the reading box. This applies to scripts you already have. To change the marks or turn it off, open Settings on the home screen, then Script Directions. • Captions & trim for videos recorded in the app. On the completion screen, tap the video to add captions, style them, cut silent gaps one at a time and save to Photos. On iOS 26 or later, captions are timed by listening to the finished take on your device. Earlier versions use the timing from a voice take, and Auto-scroll takes get no captions. Save Video now saves the take as recorded. Removed: the "Burn-in subtitles in video" switch and Save Subtitles (.srt); captions are added in the editor. • Voice Scroll Pro now has Yearly and Monthly plans alongside Lifetime. Pro lifts the 300-character limit per script; everything else stays free. • Fixes: long Chinese scripts open without freezing, and a floating take that ends while another app is in front now closes the floating window by itself.

• Vertical mirror is now a button on the reading screen, right next to horizontal mirror. No need to open settings. • Fixed the reading-line handle overlapping the home indicator in landscape with vertical mirror on. • The reading line now remembers its position per orientation and per vertical-mirror state, so moving it in one no longer moves it in the others.

• Prompter mode has a new vertical mirror. Some teleprompter rigs hold the phone screen-down above the lens; this flips your script top to bottom so it reads the right way up in the glass. Turn both mirrors on for a 180° flip. • The two mirror switches are now named for the axis they flip: "Mirror horizontally" and "Mirror vertically." You'll find them in Prompter mode → Display settings. • On-screen notices are now mirrored along with your script, so they read correctly in the glass too. • Your script now runs all the way to the bottom edge of the screen.

• Floating mode now works in landscape. Turn your phone sideways and your script sits beside the camera app instead of squeezing into a narrow band. • Voice tracking has been rebuilt. The script no longer jumps backward while you read, and spoken numbers now match digits in your script. • In-app camera recording no longer stops by itself when the cursor reaches the last word. Tap stop when your take is done. • Subtitles are no longer burned into your recordings by default. Camera Settings has a "Burn-in subtitles in video" switch to turn them back on. • Subtitles now appear at the same moment in the preview, in the burned-in video, and in the exported .srt file, and they stay on screen long enough to read. • Loud recordings no longer distort. A peak limiter now holds the ceiling instead of bending the whole waveform. • Stability fixes.

Keep reading when the mic drops out • A call, another app, or unplugging AirPods no longer ends your session — VoiceScroll tells you what happened and picks the mic back up in seconds. • In the floating window, your script can keep scrolling on its own while the mic is unavailable, at a reading speed you choose. Recording you can trust • Recording now survives leaving the app and coming back. • Your take is saved even if you close the screen mid-save, and we tell you how it ended. • We warn you before storage runs out and stop the take safely. More control • Pick the rear lens: Ultra Wide, Wide, or Telephoto. • Smaller font sizes for fitting more script on screen, and the floating window now shows five lines. • Better Hindi recognition, plus wording fixes across languages.

This update makes the teleprompter smoother and more dependable: • Pinch-to-zoom and column-width adjustments are now smooth and responsive, even on long scripts. • Speech recognition now recovers automatically after interruptions like phone calls, so it keeps working without needing a restart.

• Ten more languages are supported: Polish, Slovak, Hungarian, Romanian, Croatian, Ukrainian, Greek, Catalan, Indonesian, and Hindi. VoiceScroll now recognizes 34 languages.
