Save, archive, and manage websites Locally and minimalistically. Don't rely on the internet to remember. Make sure it does. Public archives like archive.org are valuable, but not always accessible. Content disappears, access gets restricted, and entire pages can suddenly become unavailable. With the Websitearchiver app, you're in control: Your webpages are saved locally as .html files, permanently available and independent of external services. Because what’s saved locally stays accessible, no matter what happens online. - Crawler - Graph View - Reader View & Live View - Folders, Collections & Tags - Use cookies, for loginwalls or cookie banners. - Saved in .html - Export as .warc , .webarchive, .mhtml or .PDF - Safari Extension - Remove Images - iOS App - iCloud Sync

  • This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.

New - Export any saved page as a single HTML or Markdown file, images included. All export formats now sit in the File menu. - Export a whole crawl as one combined PDF or WARC file. - Save Markdown Version keeps a clean text copy next to the saved page, without replacing it. - Saved Reader: open a page's saved text version right in the viewer. - A new Capture menu holds Quick Capture, Quick Paste URL and the Crawler. - Two new capture options for smaller archives: skip hidden page elements, and leave out empty ad boxes. - Remove Images can now keep small images such as icons and logos. - Rename a crawl's folder straight from the library. - The crawl graph shows which way links point, with new settings for arrows and layout. - Hide Navigation Links keeps the menu links repeated on every page out of the graph. - The info panel shows how many images were saved and how the page is stored. - WebsiteArchiver now warns before you put your library in a cloud-synced folder. - The app reopens the view you were last in. Improved - Reader Mode has a new engine that finds the article far more reliably, entirely on your Mac. - Reader Mode keeps the article's main picture at the top, and opens instantly the second time. - Front pages are recognised as overviews instead of being turned into a jumble of teasers. - Markdown versions keep the article's pictures and handle difficult pages much better. - Pages full of photos save much faster. - Smaller archives: oversized photos are shrunk with no visible difference. - Convert to Markdown Only can now be undone. - Remove Images asks before it deletes anything. - Export works on all selected pages at once. - The crawler remembers your last settings. Include subdomains now starts off. - The crawl graph counts only real page links, so it shows the actual structure. - More room for the page: Back, Forward and the viewer switcher moved up into the address row. - A tidier menu bar, with icons throughout. - App Store version: Restore Purchases now tells you whether a purchase was found. Fixed - App Store version: your Lifetime purchase is now saved reliably and no longer falls back to “Free Version”. - Images a page would not hand over are now saved instead of coming out blank. - Pages with embedded frames are no longer saved twice, which makes them about twice as fast. - Lazy-loaded images on most sites are saved now instead of staying blank. - More image fixes, including pages that used to lose every single picture. - Retried captures get the full download time, so slow servers no longer lose images. - Reader Mode keeps the pictures. - Reader Mode and Markdown work on compressed pages, which used to open nearly empty. - Links between the pages of a crawl work in Reader Mode. - Recent fills up again after big crawls. - Pages saved as Markdown only can be found by search again. - An interrupted first scan of a library now finishes on the next launch. - Menu commands keep working when the list column is collapsed. - ⇧⌘V now opens Quick Capture, matching its setting. - Crawl export dialogs always appear.
