Konect 2
Field data. Maps. Anywhere.
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Konect 2 is a ground-up rebuild of the Konect field data collection platform.
Same proven workflows. Modern architecture.
Designed to work reliably in the real world.
** Konect 2 **
Works anywhere — data is stored and managed on your device first, then synced when you're back in coverage. No more losing work in the field.
Data Tabs — complex records are organised into focused, navigable tabs (e.g. Asset, History, Photos, Work Orders, Inspections) instead of long scrolling forms.
Multi-basemap support — switch between satellite imagery, street maps and other layers on the fly from within a project.
* Core capabilities
Konect 2 carries forward the full feature set of Konect:
Custom form building with auto-populating fields, role-based variants and photo annotation
Points, lines and polygons with vertical topology and snap-to-feature editing
Auto GPS drawing for accurate position tracking in the field
Data import, collection and export — no coding required
Queries and filters for working with large datasets
Full audit trail with activity playback
Device-level search across forms and records
* Who it's for
Konect is used by field crews, inspectors, contractors and asset managers across telecommunications, roads and infrastructure, utilities, local government, agriculture and environment, disaster recovery, and maintenance management. If your work involves collecting location-based data in the field, this is the tool.
Konect 2 runs alongside Konect v1
Both apps will be available in the store during the transition period.
Your existing projects and data are not affected.
more Fixed
Find with GPS: Konect can now guide you on foot to a feature. It shows the distance, direction and GPS accuracy, and updates with every new position. It knows when you've arrived based on how accurate your GPS signal is. On lines, it also shows how far along the line you are, so you can keep walking to a particular point. Start it from a feature's actions in the form or data views.
Map tracking that works the same on every screen: How far you need to move before the map follows your position now depends on the map's zoom level, not your screen size. Phones and tablets now behave the same. The sensitivity options have new, clearer names: **Responsive**, **Balanced** and **Battery saver**. Your existing choice is kept. The settings screen now shows a scale bar with the actual distance at the current zoom.
More precise distance readouts: Distances and accuracy now show down to centimetres and millimetres. High-precision readings no longer round down to "0.0 m".
Phone GPS auto-draw: The default distance for drawing with the phone's GPS is now 20 m, down from 50 m.
Add several photos at once: You can now pick multiple photos from your gallery in one go when filling in a photo field.
"Still loading…" indicator: On very slow connections, the splash screen and project list now show a gentle "Still loading…" message after 15 seconds, so you know the app is still working.
Demo Mode improvements:
When you start Demo Mode, you first choose your industry, and you see demo projects for that industry. If yours isn't listed, choose "Other" and enter it yourself.
A new industry switcher on the home screen, with a picture for each industry, lets you change industry at any time.
A new built-in sign-up form lets you get in touch with our team right from the app. It includes a privacy collection notice and a link to our Privacy Policy. You can still reach us at sales@globalgbm.com.
A cleaner look: the demo banner is gone in portrait view and on the Settings screen, and the Settings button stands out more.
Fixed
App updates no longer erase your data: Installing a new version of Konect from the app store used to clear data stored on the device. Your local data is now kept when you update.
Date and time fields show the right time: A date/time field set automatically when you saved a record could show a different time from the record's "created" time. The gap matched your time zone offset. Date and time values are now saved in a time-zone-safe way and always shown in your local time. [K2B-306]
Reset password: The reset password screen now fills in your organisation code and username correctly. [K2B-299]
Diagnostic logs recorded offline: Logs recorded while you had no connection are now sent automatically once you're back online. This helps our support team look into problems.
Demo Mode: Fixed the industry picker sometimes showing out-of-date projects, and fixed accounts sometimes going missing after restarting the app. [KAB-155]
Breaking Changes
Date/time values are now stored in UTC: New and edited date and time values are now saved in UTC (with a time zone marker), not in the device's local time without a marker. The app shows them in your local time as before. Reports, exports or integrations that read raw date values from Konect should expect UTC timestamps from this version on.
2.0.3 Oct 1
Fixes:
Dependent drop-down fields no longer reset when you open a record. Some forms have a drop-down whose options depend on another field, such as a "Sub-type" list filtered by "Type". Opening an existing record could replace the saved choice in that drop-down with its default value. Opening a record now leaves your saved choices as they are, and the default only applies when you change the field it depends on.
"Remember last value" now respects dependent drop-downs. When a form is set to pre-fill the value you last used, it now checks that value still fits the current selection in the field it depends on. If it doesn't fit, the field uses the list's normal default instead of showing a value you couldn't pick from the drop-down.
Invalid choices in dependent drop-downs are now detected correctly. A value that belongs to a different parent selection is now recognised as invalid and replaced with a valid default. Before, the app only checked whether the value appeared anywhere in the full list.

Fix 2 bugs related to Guarantee Offline;
1. failing to fetch the refresh token from Keychain got treated as a token fail, even in Guarantee Offline, and logged user out
2. the login screen was also gated by Guarantee Offline, meaning once logged off, user could not get back on
2.0.1 Sep 14
What's new
Open to all users — the beta access list has been removed. Any user with a valid Konect login can now sign in to Konect 2
Split Screen — a new view that shows your data list and the map side by side. Selecting a feature in either pane highlights it in the other, the divider can be dragged to resize the panes (with a grip and minimum/maximum widths), and the view opens on your data list rather than an empty prompt. Adding and drawing features now stays in the split view instead of jumping you over to the Map tab. (NB: only available on tablets) [K2B-102, K2B-271–K2B-278, K2B-283]
Choose your split highlight colour — selected features are outlined in yellow by default (matching QGIS), with a setting to pick a different colour or keep the previous "Surrounded" style. [K2B-102]
Related items in one list — a new setting stacks every related dataset into a single list, and the action buttons now ask which dataset you want them to apply to. [K2B-42]
Larger buttons — a Large buttons switch scales up the map controls and the app's other floating buttons, for easier use with gloves or in the field. [K2B-280]
High visibility mode now has its own switch under Appearance, separate from other display settings. [K2B-285]
Resumable basemap downloads — interrupted map downloads pick up where they left off instead of starting over, so backgrounding the app, losing signal or a crash no longer costs you a large partial download. Cancelled and failed downloads also clean up after themselves rather than leaving hundreds of megabytes on the device. System basemaps can now be downloaded on the web app, and very large system basemaps are no longer size-limited.
Faster maps on slow connections — when you pan or zoom away, the app now cancels the map data it no longer needs instead of waiting for it, so the area you're actually looking at loads first. [K2B-256]
Stay signed in when offline — with Guarantee Offline mode on, the app no longer signs you out when your session would otherwise have expired. [K2B-266]
Mark on map now places your mark immediately, even while the map is still loading. [K2B-270]
Map search — the country selector is collapsed down to take less space. [K2B-268]
Refreshed reshape and map selection — a redesigned "Choose a feature" card, a scrollable column of map buttons, and the form and reshape buttons now hold their position (greyed out when they don't apply) instead of moving around. [K2B-253, K2B-269]
2.0.0 Aug 28
Automatic syncing works again. A change introduced on 14 August could leave automatic background syncing silently stopped, so edits made on the device were never sent to the server until a sync was started by hand. Automatic syncing now runs reliably again, including after switching accounts or leaving demo mode.
Photos no longer get stranded on the device. If the connection dropped while photos or other attachments were uploading, those files could be left in a state where they were never retried — they stayed on the device and never reached the server. Uploads now recover from a dropped connection, and any attachments already stuck from previous versions are detected and sent automatically after updating.
Fixed a crash when changing the app theme. Switching between the standard and high-visibility themes could crash the app mid-transition.

What's new
Choose what tapping the map does. A new Gestures for View/Edit mode setting lets you decide whether a tap opens a feature or selects it, with long press doing the other. Selecting keeps you on the map: a single feature appears on a card, and when several features sit under your finger you get a pager to swipe through them. Either way, everything found is waiting for you on the Data tab.
Favourite projects. Long press a project in the project chooser to star it. Favourites are pinned to the top of the list so the projects you use every day are always first.
Per-basemap label colours. Long press a basemap in the chooser to toggle reversed map labels for that basemap and save the current label colours against it, so each basemap remembers the label styling that suits it.
Optional 3D map tilt. Map tilt is now off by default to prevent accidental tilting while you work. If you want it, there's a new *Allow map tilt (3D)* setting to turn it back on.
Fixed
Much better photo quality on Android. Photos taken and attached in the app were being resized in a way that visibly degraded them. Photos are now resized using our own method, giving noticeably sharper images at a *smaller* file size — so they upload faster too. A spinner now shows while an image is being processed, so it's clear the app is working.
Back gesture no longer loses your changes in image viewer and editor. Swiping back from the image viewer or image editor could skip the form's "unsaved changes" confirmation and discard your edits. Back now correctly returns you to the form.
Tapping features on the map is reliable again. Fixed a case where tapping a feature sometimes failed to open it, and a separate problem where tapping a single line feature while offline selected several features at once.
Map buttons are reachable on Android tablets. In landscape, the Android system taskbar could cover the map's buttons. The map now lays out clear of it.
Appearance polish throughout. The Konect banner now follows the active theme, divider weights are consistent across choosers, tables and settings cards, the project chooser's favourite star uses the standard ink colour, and the manage-project sheet now matches the styling of every other sheet in the app.
Changed Behaviour
Map tilt is now disabled by default. If your workflow relies on tilting the map into a 3D view, enable Allow map tilt (3D) in Settings after updating.
1.0.21 Aug 20
What's new
Tap and hold anywhere on the map to inspect a feature. A card slides up showing that feature's details, and you can flick it away with a swipe when you're done. The card now extends behind the zoom buttons so more of your data stays visible. [K2B-225, K2B-227, K2B-240]
Terrain profile improvements. The elevation profile now scrolls at a consistent 10 km scale beneath a centred playhead, estimates your walking time based on the pack weight you choose, and no longer blocks the map underneath it — you can pan and zoom while it's open.
Live zoom level on the map. When the zoom buttons are enabled, the current zoom level is displayed alongside them. [K2B-238]
See at a glance which basemaps are downloaded. The basemap chooser now shows an *On device* or *On cloud* pill for every offline basemap, and you can pull down to refresh the list and re-check what's actually stored on your device. [K2B-241, K2B-239]
Map label colour is remembered per basemap. Long-press a basemap in the chooser to set its label colour, and your choice sticks for that basemap. [K2B-242]
Easier date and time entry. Date and time fields now use a scrolling wheel picker, with a **Now** button to fill in the current date and time in one tap. [K2B-232]
Fixed
Fixed crashes on the Data tab and when opening records. Switching between accounts and working on an unreliable connection are both handled more smoothly. [K2B-247]
The map selection is now cleared when you change project, environment, or account, so you no longer see a leftover feature card from your previous context. [K2B-226]
Restoring a saved map view no longer brings back an out-of-date basemap. [K2B-231]
Basemaps that have been removed on the server are now cleared from your list, and downloaded basemaps are verified against what's actually on your device. [K2B-233]
The feature card no longer shows summary fields that are hidden in the form. [K2B-230]
The Advanced GPS settings toggle now stays where you left it. [K2B-243]
Updated the built-in fallback list used when the online configuration can't be reached, so the app keeps working normally in that situation.
1.0.20 Aug 14
What's New
Stronger protection for your saved sign-in. Your session is now kept in the device's secure storage (Keychain on iOS, encrypted storage on Android) instead of the app database. Existing sign-ins are carried over automatically, so you won't be signed out by this update. Your Konect account can now also be used to sign in to the companion Konect Status Reporter app.
Clearer feedback when you tap the map. Tapping the map now shows a marker with a ripple, gives haptic feedback, and tells you when there's nothing at that spot. The marker fades away once you're done with the result. [K2B-194, K2B-197]
Light/dark map labels. A new toggle in the basemap picker inverts map label colours so they stay readable over any basemap. [K2B-187]
Copy a field label. Long-press any form field label to copy its text. [K2B-188]
Automatic capitalisation of the first letter you type in form text fields (skipped for username and password fields). [K2B-186]
Easier navigation of wide data grids — you can now swipe the column headers sideways to scroll the grid. [K2B-193]
Redesigned data view headers in the Data tab, with a record-count pill, used consistently across single and multiple views and in related items. [K2B-162]
Open a feature's form straight from the map. Long-press the map to select the top-most feature at that point, then open its form from a new button on the map toolbar. [K2B-223]
Demo Mode appears as its own card on the Accounts page, your demo data is kept when you switch between accounts (use "Remove" when you want to clear it), and the app returns you to Demo Mode automatically when you restart. Tapping "Resume" now shows a progress spinner while your demo content loads. [K2B-218]
Rebuilt filtering on the Data tab. The filter panel has been redesigned to match the rest of the app, and now lets you filter the items within a list field and control matching with independent "match case" and "match whole value" switches. [K2B-210] [K2B-122]
Search now tells you what it's searching. The search filter names the fields your search term will be matched against, so it's clear why a record did or didn't match. [K2B-217]
Sharper basemaps when you zoom in past the map's normal limit. Basemaps now carry minimum and maximum zoom levels, allowing tiles to be over-zoomed instead of disappearing. [K2B-200]
Projects pick up basemap changes. A project's basemaps are now reconciled against the account's current basemaps, so updates made centrally reach existing projects instead of leaving them on an old copy. [K2B-200]
Refreshed app icon, splash screen and home logo, rebuilt to the correct Konect mark proportions. [K2B-206] [K2B-207]
Redesigned the copy-value "Change" chooser as a themed panel with the same grid layout as the Data tab. [K2B-121]
1.0.19 Aug 7
What's new
Call and email directly from forms. Text fields containing a phone number or email address now show quick action buttons to place a call or start an email. [K2B-155]
Multi-line notes support line breaks. You can now use carriage returns inside multi-line text fields for better-formatted notes. [K2B-156]
Clear optional date and time fields. Non-mandatory date, date/time and time fields can now be cleared once set. [K2B-157]
New animated splash screen. A refreshed, theme-aware startup screen tuned for each platform, alongside updated Konect2 colour branding. [K2B-149]
Basemap downloads now resume automatically. If you leave the download screen — or even fully close and reopen the app — basemap downloads pick up where they left off, and download errors are now shown clearly on the cards. [K2B-120, K2B-125]
Clearer basemap information. Basemap cards now display an icon and label indicating the type of basemap, and show a download percentage for supported formats instead of just a spinner. [K2B-124]
Orphaned records made visible. Records that have lost their link to a parent now show an indicator with an option to relink them from the form page (available in developer settings). [K2B-163]
Fixed
Map labels no longer overlap by default, giving a cleaner map view, with the latest mapping improvements from our map engine. [K2B-150]
Data updates from map selections now refresh correctly. Editing a record chosen from a multi-selection on the map now updates both the data view and the form as expected. [K2B-112]
Data grid no longer crashes when sorting by a date column after saving a form. [K2B-153]
Data grid shows the correct column headers for form variants instead of the primary field names. [K2B-151]
Data tab now refreshes when the loaded project has been updated. [K2B-152]
No more repeated "project has been updated" messages on the home screen. [K2B-154]
Text now shrinks to fit instead of being clipped where space is tight. [K2B-160]
Smoother data tab interactions. The action bar now animates away when you cancel a selection, the keyboard dismisses on save, and the clear button is hidden on empty fields. [K2B-158, K2B-159]
Consistent dialog styling across all confirmation and information dialogs. [K2B-161]
Fixed a data loading error with zoom reported in logs. [K2B-164]
1.0.17 Jul 23
What's new
You can now choose Apple Maps when navigating to a location on iPhone and iPad, alongside the existing options. [K2B-145]
The basemap picker now shows preview thumbnails, so you can see what each basemap looks like before selecting it. [K2B-144]
Refreshed app icon and a cleaner Konect logo that no longer shows a white edge in dark mode. [K2B-149, K2B-140]
A more consistent look throughout the app: bottom sheets now share unified drag-handle and header colours, and data-view labels are shown consistently across the Datasets and Selections pickers, grouped view headers, and the "last viewed" banner. [K2B-147, K2B-139]
Fixed
Fixed map layers not appearing: point and icon features now render correctly, and certain region (area) datasets that were missing from the map are now shown. Map data is also loaded at the correct zoom levels. [K2B-126]
Fixed the Add button in related items opening the wrong dataset after an add was cancelled. [K2B-148]
Fixed "Mark all on map" from related items incorrectly switching into drawing mode. [K2B-143]
Fixed a form rule that could act on the wrong field, so rule-driven actions now apply correctly. [K2B-36]
Improved reliability when loading map features, including handling of special characters in data. [K2B-142]
Faster, smoother app startup and syncing, with improved connectivity detection. [K2B-141]

What's new
---------------
Redesigned Home and Data tabs with a cleaner, edge-to-edge layout, a new bottom-sheet dataview chooser, and refreshed empty-state screens featuring the Konect watermark logo. [K2B-111]
Offline indicator moved inline so it's easier to see — it now appears as a bar above the bottom navigation in portrait, and in the navigation rail in landscape. [K2B-61]
Text fields that contain a web address now show a tappable button to open the link directly in your browser. [K2B-130]
Address search now automatically places the cursor in the search box when the panel opens, so you can start typing right away. [K2B-133]
Basemap chooser now clearly highlights the basemap you currently have selected, and its empty state shows the shared watermark logo. [K2B-134]
Read-only forms are clearer to read: read-only fields now display as plain labels and content rather than greyed-out input boxes. This covers text, logical (tick/cross), signature, photo, and document fields, each with a helpful hint (e.g. "No value set", "No signature", "No documents") when empty. [K2B-115, K2B-116, K2B-117, K2B-118, K2B-119]
Consistent bottom-sheet choosers throughout the map and forms — the basemap, feature-type, switch-project, list-field dropdown, and address-search panels now share the same styling, with drag-to-resize support and the selected item highlighted to match the active tab. [K2B-113, K2B-114, K2B-129, K2B-131]
Data grid improvements: columns are now uniformly left-aligned, and you can scroll the grid horizontally by swiping on the empty area below the rows. Header and row colours now extend cleanly during overscroll. [K2B-108, K2B-128]
Related items polish: empty states now use the watermark logo consistently, and the "More" button behaves consistently with the "Add" button when records are present.
Feature actions reordered so the more frequently used "Mark on map" appears before "Reshape on map".
Form title is now centred and shortens with an ellipsis instead of overlapping the back button. [K2B-129]
Fixed
---------------
Fixed related items not appearing when you go offline immediately after downloading a project. [K2B-138]
Fixed related items disappearing from a form's Related Items tab when going offline.
Related items now appear in a consistent order whether you are online or offline.
Fixed a hang on the loading screen for records where a required parent list had no value. [K2B-135]
Fixed a sync issue where child records (beyond the first) were not being linked to their parent record on the server. This release also automatically recovers any earlier records affected by this problem.
Fixed an issue where deleting a parent could leave orphaned child records that failed to be removed.
Fixed an account issue where the same account could incorrectly show as both signed-in and signed-out. [K2B-136]
Fixed the project chooser losing your current selection after refreshing definitions. [K2B-127]
The data and map tabs now correctly clear a previously selected project when the environment no longer has one. [K2B-111]
Known issues

Some features not rendering on map [K2B-126] and [K2B-132]
1.0.15 Jul 10
What's new
Downloadable offline basemaps. You can now download system basemaps for offline use, including detailed vector map styles that keep labels and text sharp without a connection. Large basemaps download reliably in the background and can resume if interrupted, and the map updates automatically once a download finishes. When you go offline, the app falls back gracefully to a world basemap or your downloaded maps. [K2B-101, K2B-74]
Smarter list default values in forms. When you open a form, list fields can now be pre-filled with sensible default values, and you'll be notified when a default has been applied. [K2B-106]
Clearer data views. Yes/No fields now show a tick or cross icon instead of text, and date, time, and date/time values use a more compact format and are neatly aligned in their columns. [K2B-107, K2B-108]
Improved offline resilience. The app handles going offline much more gracefully across map, data, and sync features — falling back to local data instead of showing errors, and automatically reconnecting and refreshing when you're back online. [K2B-95]
Fixed
Fixed the Reshape button not appearing when drawing a line in line-only projects. [K2B-53]
Fixed GPS handling for photos, including a timeout so the app no longer waits indefinitely for a location, and corrected a coordinate conversion error. [K2B-59]
Fixed attachments not always saving due to a timing issue, and fixed an image thumbnail that didn't update for new, unsaved attachments. Also resolved an occasional iOS build/location issue.
Fixed an error when a parent record is linked to a child that is filtered on a system field (such as "created by"), and improved the readability of error messages in dark mode. [K2B-73]
Fixed duplicate links being created between parent and child records when re-saving related items. [K2B-109]
Fixed deleting a related item so it now returns you to the related items list and correctly refreshes the tab counts. [K2B-110]
Removed the intrusive auto-sync override notification, replacing it with a cleaner approach. [K2B-72]
Various stability improvements, including fixes for widget display errors [K2UAT_5] and refined timeouts.
1.0.14 Jul 4
What's new
------------
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) setup now has its own dedicated, full-screen page instead of a pop-up dialog, making it easier to set up and manage. [K2B-103]
On the map, you can now long-press the My Location button to toggle moving-map mode (this replaces the previous double-tap gesture). [K2B-84]
Downloaded projects that were automatically added by an administrator now display a clear "Admin" badge so you can tell them apart from projects you downloaded yourself. [K2B-96]
Attachments and photos that simply haven't been downloaded yet are now shown distinctly from ones that failed with an error, so it's clearer what (if anything) needs your attention. [K2B-99]
Fixed
-------
Fixed an issue on iOS where reopening the app after it had been in the background could incorrectly sign you out. The app now only signs you out for legitimate reasons and otherwise restores your session smoothly.
Refreshed the offline basemaps page with an updated look and feel that matches the offline projects screen. [K2B-98]
In forms, the Related Items tab no longer lists datasets that are only meant for map display, keeping the tab focused on relevant items. [K2B-97]
Improved the document attachment field's appearance and fixed a bug that prevented attachments from being removed correctly.
Fixed a stretched/distorted loading spinner that appeared while attachments were loading in forms. [K2B-100]
Improved layout on landscape orientation and on devices with notches or rounded corners — page content, headers, and footers now stay clear of screen edges and unsafe areas across the app, including the data list, accounts, and settings screens.
Updated background location tracking to a newer version for improved reliability.
1.0.13 Jun 26
** New **
Live map updates — features on the map now refresh automatically as you pan and zoom, so the data you see always stays in sync with the area you're viewing. [K2B-87]
Smarter sync queue — syncing has been reworked to upload your changes in a sensible priority order, with proper pause/resume support and the ability to focus on your active project first. This makes syncing more reliable and predictable, especially with large amounts of data. [K2B-75]
Annotation text styling — you can now choose between serif and sans-serif fonts when adding text annotations, with refreshed, better-looking fonts throughout. [K2B added]
Data view picker shows query names — when a data view is based on a query, its name now appears in brackets in the picker so it's easier to tell views apart.
Related items are easier to navigate — secondary tabs are now sorted alphabetically by name, and related items are accessed through a cleaner "more" button and bottom sheet.
Quick access to Release Notes, Beta, and website — the app now links directly to the online release notes, the beta program, and the Konect website. [K2B-50]
** Fixed **
App now starts when offline even after data cleared — fixed an issue where the app could fail to start when opened offline after previously logging in and clearing data. [K2B-93]
More reliable photo and attachment syncing — fixed several problems with attachments: deleted attachments are now correctly removed after syncing, attachments and features sync in the correct order, and each sync stage fully completes before the next begins. [K2B-58]
Map editing fix — corrected unwanted zooming while dragging a vertex on the map. [K2B-7]
Form title display — form headers now show the variant's display label when one is set, and the title stays correctly centred even when the delete action is visible.
Annotation editor in landscape — fixed hidden side panels incorrectly appearing in landscape orientation.
Smoother form interactions — the "more" button now animates away immediately when switching to the related items tab.
Improved Android data handling— better parsing of data on Android for fewer errors. [K2B-89]
Basemaps on web — fixed issues with basemaps when using the app in a browser. [K2B-75]
Environment switching — environments are now fully synced before switching between them.
Consistent delete actions — delete buttons and confirmation dialogs now use a consistent style and clearer wording across the app.
1.0.12 Jun 19
What's new
Refreshed the form screen header: the dataset and variant name is now centred at the top, the back button has clearer text and a larger tap area, and the tabs use a cleaner pill-style indicator to show which one is selected.
Fixed
The status pill on the home screen now correctly shows "On-device" instead of "On-cloud" when the app starts, and shows a shimmer effect on the "On-cloud" pill while a project download is in progress so you can tell when data is still being fetched.
Corrected vertical spacing in the form layout.
1.0.11 Jun 15
**What's new**
Major upgrade to the photo annotation editor: redesigned toolbars with shape and line style pickers, a background colour bar, and a quick symbol-switch button right on the canvas. Text is now typed directly onto the photo instead of in a dialog, the editor makes better use of tablet and landscape screens, the canvas recentres when you rotate your device, and you're asked to confirm (with a count) before removing selected annotations.
Form actions now appear as a floating button overlay instead of a fixed action bar, freeing up screen space, and the form content now fades in smoothly once it has loaded.
Offline basemaps are now downloaded together with the rest of the project, with their own download progress indicator, and the project sync status shown on the home screen now accurately reflects what is actually stored on the device.
Topology move rules are now applied when editing feature geometry on the map — connected features follow the configured rules, GPS-derived fields update automatically when a feature's shape changes, and geometry edits are saved through the open form.
**Fixed**
Fields on read-only form variants can no longer be changed.
Fixed the home screen not updating correctly after removing a downloaded project and then re-downloading it, along with a related layout glitch.
Datasets in the Data tab are now listed in alphabetical order.
Map-only datasets are no longer shown anywhere in the Data tab.
Security improvements to the in-app map.

New
- Introduced a photo annotation editor so you can mark up your photos right in the app — draw shapes, lines and freehand sketches, drop in symbols, and pick colours. The tools sit in a tidy bottom toolbar with
shapes and lines grouped into dropdowns, and you're prompted before clearing all annotations or discarding unsaved changes.
- Refreshed the photo viewer with a smooth slide-up transition over the form, a quick edit button, a tidier app bar for removing photos, and haptic feedback.
- Widened the form on tablets and in landscape so you can now fit five image thumbnails across.
Fixes
- You can now pinch-to-zoom and pan within the photo viewer and annotation editor, and the controls hide and show correctly while you do. [K2B-4]
- Fixed an issue where only the first of several photos attached to a record would sync to Konect Manager — all attached photos now sync reliably. [K2B-60]
- Improved multi-geometry features: multi-point features now highlight correctly and a crash when reshaping multi-line features has been resolved. Reshaping multi-polygon features is intentionally blocked, with
an on-screen notice if you try. [K2B-5]
- Dataset name changes made on the server now come through correctly when you refresh. [K2B-11]
- After saving an edit to an existing record, the app now returns you to the map, data grid or parent record, matching the original Konect behaviour. [K2B-30]
- The Data tab dataset picker now shows form variant display names instead of query names. [K2B-33]
- Radio button lists now wrap long labels neatly, align them to the top, and let you tap the label itself to make a selection. [K2B-65]
- Fixed several intermittent display glitches for users with large font size settings on their phone, for a more stable, reliable interface.

**What's new**
Loading spinners throughout the app now show a branded rotating Konect logo for a more polished, consistent look.
The home screen now shows your username, right-aligned on wider layouts such as tablets and landscape.
Improved layouts across sign-in, forgot password, account, demo, and form screens to make better use of the screen on tablets and in landscape, including tidier action buttons and the Forgot Password and Try Demo Mode options now sitting side by side.
Polished the manage project panel — it now opens with a drag handle, shows a skeleton loader while device statistics load, and defers loading those statistics until the panel has finished opening for smoother animation.
Added pull-to-refresh to the data table so you can refresh records with a downward swipe.
Updated the underlying app framework to the latest version for improved stability and future device compatibility.
**Fixed**
Overhauled the multi-factor authentication prompt: it now animates in and out smoothly, uses a number keypad, offers a hint to paste your code, automatically clears and refocuses the entry when a code is wrong, dismisses the keyboard on success, and reliably appears whenever a code is required.
Required list fields in form variants now correctly offer a blank option and default value, matching how they behave on the primary form.
Required child list fields now clear their previously chosen value when the parent list changes and the old value is no longer valid.
Required child list fields now show the correct list options based on the parent field's value, even before the parent has been changed.
Fixed list content being indented incorrectly on iPhone in landscape orientation.
Polished destructive action buttons (such as on the Discard Changes dialog) so they use a clear, consistent style.
Back buttons now use the correct platform-native icon (an arrow on Android and a chevron on iOS).
The forgot password screen now shows its error message correctly on the first step.

New
• Redesigned offline project cards on the home screen — see on-device record count, attachment count, and storage size at a glance. The project icon is now tappable to open the manage
view.
• Pull-to-refresh on the home screen, with haptic feedback at the pull threshold and a smooth automatic snap-back on release.
Fixes
• Map-only datasets no longer appear in the data tab.
• Grid search using "Contains" is now case-insensitive, with on-screen labels clarifying that Contains is case-insensitive and Exact is case-sensitive.
• Drawing a related child feature now correctly links it to its parent (offline/online sync fix).
• Multi-factor authentication: MFA sign-in no longer fails with an error, the cursor now defaults into the MFA input when it appears, and re-logging in with MFA no longer briefly
bounces you to the account screen.
• Fixed an auth-refresh issue that could leave the home screen stuck on the project skeleton loader.
• Home screen no longer shows the project skeleton loader on every visit — opening and switching projects feels noticeably snappier.
• Removed an unnecessary location services banner at startup on iOS, and stopped the iOS login screen from auto-capitalising your input.
• PDF viewer now correctly honours landscape orientation when configured.
• Manage project card no longer shows a stale state after removing data from the project.
• Manage project card chevron now uses the correct icon colour in dark mode.
• Resolved a crash that could occur on the home screen on desktop platforms (Windows/macOS).
• Tidied padding and divider spacing on the settings page, with consistent secondary icon colour on list and expansion tile chevrons throughout the app.
• Fixed an issue where new database tables (used for additional project sync settings) were not being created on existing installs after an update.

NEW (1)
• Configuration changes are checked and updated when going to the home tab. New or removed projects should automatically be updated in the projects list. The current project will be reopened if any of its configuration has changed.
FIXED (8)
• Calculated numeric fields are now rounded to 2 decimal places.
• Environments that contain large numbers of projects and queries should load faster. 1000s of projects will still take time to load, we recommend reducing projects assigned to user.
• Datasets downloaded to the device containing fields that start with number will now work.
• Fixed an issue when signing back into an organisation, when 2 users have signed into the same organisation on the same device.
• Calculated fields using the info functions should now be working.
• Release notes should be displaying in app again.
• PDF viewer will update preview on orientation change.
• Calculated fields can be edited in field variants.

Fixed
